How to Level Up Fast

Make Lots of Salt

The best way to earn EXP in Once Human is by making salt - and tons of it! Here's a step-by-step instruction how to level up by making salt. Note that you'll need to build stoves for this method.

How to Get Stove

Steps How to Passively Farm EXP with Salt
1
Build Stoves at Your Territory
Once you have access to your Territory, build stoves. The more stoves you build, the better. If you have access to Solar Generators and Electric Stoves, it's even better as you won't need to gather wood anymore to make salt.
2
Get to the Beach
Move your Territory beside the sea or use a Teleporter near a beach. There is a Teleporter located at the southern part of Dayton Wetlands, which provides convenient access to the beach. This location is ideal for collecting sea water, which is essential for making salt and gaining EXP passively.
3
Collect Tons of Sea Water
While at the beach, gather as much sea water as you can. Once you have a large quantity, return to your Territory to begin the salt-making process.
4 Once Human - Level Up Salt
Start Making Salt at the Stove
Begin making salt at your stoves using the sea water you collected. Each stack of 99 takes about 8 minutes to complete, so queue up 5 stacks to maximize efficiency and do other content while you wait for them to finish. Each completed stack provides 88 EXP.
5 Once Human - Electric Stove How to Level Up Fast
Eventually Switch to Electric Stoves
If you're using normal stoves, remember that each salt production requires 3 wood. To streamline the process, switch to electric stoves once you have access to Solar Panels, eliminating the need to gather wood.
6 Once Human - Sell Salt How to Level Up Fast
Sell All Your Salts For Energy Links
Salt can be used for various dishes, but if you find yourself with an excess, you can sell it at a town for Energy Links. Profit!
