Invincible Sun is a new combat deviant that specializes in dealing Burn DMG and was introduced in Once Human's Way of Winter Scenario. Read on and find out how to get the Invincible Sun deviant and its location, how to use it, how to raise its mood and power, and the skills of Invincible Sun!
Securement Silo Delta can be found in the southeast area of Onyx Tundra. This same Securement Silo is explored as part of the The Fragile Peace Quest.
Invincible Sun appears after succesfully clearing Securement Silo - Delta. Fight through this Vulture Secret Base, then at its end, you'll be pulled into a concert arena where you'll have to take down Party Kin Hearst. When successful, Invincible Sun will appear for you to capture.
# | Step by Step Objectives |
---|---|
1 |
Head to Securement Silo - Delta in the southeast area of Onyx Tundra. You can choose to speak to T-Man outside as part of the Fragile Peace Quest, but to enter the Silo approach the closed gate. |
2 |
This Silo is set in a subway station that the Vultures have converted into their secret base. There are several flamethrowers that will block your way. Dodge-roll through the far end of the flames to pass safely. Progress through the subway station and descend onto the dilapidated station platform where the first group of enemies can be found. |
3 |
After defeating the first wave of enemies, a Vulture Temple Guard will appear, along with a second wave of enemies. Keep a safe distance and take these enemies out to get the Base Key that will let you progress deeper into their headquarters. |
4 |
Go through a few more halls of flames while avoiding the flamethrowers to reach what appears to be an underground club. There are more Vultures hiding in this area for you to defeat, but be wary of pillars of fire that will appear as you engage with them. Once they are defeated, there's a chance for a Frog the Leaper Deviant to appear by the bar for you to capture. Note that this is not a guaranteed catch. |
5 |
Pass through another hallway where you'll arrive at what appears to be an underground concert pit. The game will signal you to find an anomaly in the area to get to the rift boss. Make sure you're fully healed up before heading up on stage behind the drumset. Once in position, you'll be warped to the boss fight arena. |
6 |
For the first quarter of Party Kin Hearst's health, he'll just be on the concert stage. Shoot at him to shred his HP. Once his HP falls to 75% he'll wave his weapon around before joining you in the arena. Maintain a good distance from him out of his swing's reach. Occasionally, he will leap towards you with a swing. Time a dodge-roll away to maintain the distance and to evade the swing. Keep a rapid-fire gun trained at him and he should go down without major complications. |
7 |
After securing victory, you can collect your rewards, and you'll also find Invincible Sun nearby for you to capture. Be sure to get it before leaving the Silo's Dungeon. |
Invincible Sun Preferred Environment |
---|
Expose to Red Light.
Place Toys Around
In a Warm Environment.
|
To boost Invincible Sun's Deviant Power and Mood Regeneration, place its Securement Unit in a location where it is in a warm environment exposed to Red Light with Toys around.
An environment that is around 30°C is considered warm. Red Lights can be built from the Furniture Menu once unlocked from the Basic Furniture II Node in the Building Memetics Skill Tree. Lastly, toys can be crafted with the Formula: Plush Toy recipe from the Season Shop.
Invincible Sun is an immobile Combat Deviant who mainly deals Burn DMG by emitting waves of flames.
By designating a target, Invincible Sun will hover in preparation for you to telekinetically throw it into a group of enemies, the same way you would Anima Weapons.
It will deal damage on impact and will continue to emit waves of heat that deal Burn DMG to nearby enemies making it effective at taking out grouped-up enemies.
Selecting Auto Attack will spawn Invincible Sun at your location at the moment of selecting it. It will then behave similarly, and emit waves of burn damage. It is inadvisable to use Invincible Sun this way as this involves putting you in danger to effectively place the Deviant.
While it could be useful in a pinch, such as when you're being chased, we much rather recommend throwing Invincible Sun by using the Designate Target command.
