Emotes in Once Human can be done by using expression roulette in the overworld. See how to emote, what emoting does, as well as how to unlock and get more emotes in this guide!
How to Emote |
---|
|
To use an emote, players first need to set actions and expressions to the roulette wheel. This can be done by opening the main menu, and hovering over the Backpack option. Then, select the Cosmetics tab.
Once in the Cosmetics interface, select the Expressions tab. Players can drag the actions and expressions emotes from the list on the left-hand side of the screen to the slots on the roulette wheel.
Upon setting the desired emotes, players can open the roulette wheel in the overworld by holding the appropriate button, which is X by default.
Use the mouse to hover over an emote, then let go of the roulette wheel button to perform that emote. Players can also use the Number Keys to activate the emote on the corresponding numbered roulette wheel slot.
Emotes can be used as a form of communication, like greeting, cheering, thanking other players, and showing your reactions to what happens in game!
Emotes are also used to complete certain side quests. The side quest A Miracle Chase requires players to use an emote in front of the statue to complete it, and also serves as a tutorial on how to use and equip emotes.
Emotes become accessible after progressing through the opening events of the game. After arriving in the physical world, players can open the relevant menu to find and equip emotes for their use.
List of Where to Get Emotes |
---|
|
Players can obtain certain emotes from the Active Season's Loot Crates. It is currently unknown if these emotes are locked to their specific season, but this section will be updated when new information turns up!
Emotes can also be purchased from the in-game shop, using the game's premium currency, Crystgin.
Some levels of the Battle Pass can have emotes as a reward. Complete tasks in-game to earn experience and reach these rewards!
Certain events may include emotes in their reward list, so be sure to check the active events for any emotes to collect.
