Upgrade any weapons by enhancing their blueprints in Once Human. Read on and learn how to upgrade weapons, other weapon upgrade methods to increase their damage output and performance, and how to get blueprint fragments for your blueprint enhancements!
List of Contents
Upgrade your weapons to increase their damage across different tiers by enhancing their blueprints, which is done via the Blueprints tab. Enhancing a weapon's blueprint requires XP, which can be acquired from blueprint fragments.
Once a blueprint has been enhanced, it will increase its rank (denoted by the stars on the top right), and you'll be able to craft the related weapon with increased stats. Existing copies of the weapon prior to enhancing its blueprint will not be affected with the stat increase.
Rarity | XP Amount |
---|---|
Legendary | 30 XP |
Epic | 10 XP |
Fine | 3 XP |
Common | 1 XP |
The amount of XP depends on the fragment's rarity. Using the weapon's own blueprint fragments will yield double XP.
All weapon blueprints have different styles of Blueprint Fragments: Hunstman, Wanderer, Operator, Juggernaut, Beyonder, and Stranger. Enhancing a weapon's blueprint using other weapon's blueprint fragments can only be done with the same blueprint fragment style as the blueprint being enhanced.
Successfully enhancing a weapon's blueprint will complete the "Upgrade any Weapon" task for the Weapon Engineer Journey.
Calibrating a weapon will increase its DMG stat per calibration level at the cost of materials and Energy Links, which is done via the Gear Workbench. Reaching calibration levels 4, 7, and 10 will activate an additional calibration attribute, which are basically random stats to improve your weapon's performance.
Calibration does not affect other copies of the same weapon, and the stat increase only affects that particular weapon that you've calibrated.
Successfully calibrating a weapon will complete the "Calibrate any Weapon" task for the Weapon Engineer Journey.
1. Wish Machine
2. Opening Mystical Crates
Blueprint fragments can be acquired via the Wish Machine. Spend Starchrom for a chance to obtain the weapons' blueprints themselves, or blueprint fragments, which can be fused to create the blueprint.
How to Get and Use the Wish Machine
Mystical Crates contain both weapon and armor blueprint fragments. Go to key locations in an area to find the Mystical Crates hidden within. So far, only one Mystical Crate can be found per location.
