Tin Ore can randomly spawn across all regions of the map, similarly to other ore nodes. They can be found as early as the starting location of Dayton Wetlands, but become more common in the Broken Delta.
Tin Ore appears in the overworld through ore nodes that contain grey metals in the rock, and require at least a Copper Pickaxe to mine.
The Digby Boy Deviation randomly collects ore for the player while it is active, including Tin Ore. To make use of it, place the Deviation in an Isolated Securement Unit in a base.
The Digby Boy can be randomly obtained while mining, but can also be obtained from the Deviation Expert Quest given by the NPC Lowe.
The Canned Seafood In Oil food item provides players with the Stroke of Luck buff, which has a chance to increase the yield of the final strike when mining an ore by 66%, 666%, or even 6666%.
The recipe for Canned Seafood In Oil is unlocked through the Dishes IV Memetics Node, and can be made on any tier of Stove once unlocked.
Tin Ore can be combined with Copper Ore at a Furnace to make Bronze Ingots, which are used in constructing Facilities and crafting Items and Gear beyond the basic Copper options.
