Snapshot is a new combat deviant that appears as a camera in Once Human's Way of Winter Scenario. Read on and find out how to get the Snapshot deviant and its location, how to use it, how to raise its mood and power, and the skills of Snapshot!
Unlike most other Deviants introduced in the Way of Winter scenario, Snapshot stands out as one that isn't obtained from a quest from Lowe.
Instead, Snapshot appears after you defeat Secret Servitor as part of the Tundra Monolith. It is recommended to be at Lv. 20 or higher to clear this Monolith easily. We also recommend taking on this boss alone as taking it on as a team will make the fight much harder.
Snapshot Preferred Environment |
---|
Expose to Red Light.
In a Cold Environment.
Power with 5W of Electricity.
|
To boost Snapshot's Deviant Power and Mood Regeneration, power its Securement Unit with 5W of Power, and have it in a location where it is in a cold environment, exposed to a Red Light.
An environment that is between -30°C to - 5°C is considered cold, and the Red Light can be built from the Furniture Menu once Basic Furniture II Node in the Building Memetics Skill Tree is unlocked.Lastly, you can power the Securement Unit by wiring it to a generator such as a Solar Panel.
When Snapshot is summoned in Manual Photograph mode, it will assist you by dealing damage as you aim down the sights. By looking on the scope, your view will be similar to that of a camera. Snapshot will target any enemies in view, and after a 5-beep countdown, will emit a flash of light that deals damage to those targeted in frame.
Alternatively, having Snapshot fight in Auto Photograph mode will have it set itself up on a tripod and spawn near where enemies gather. It will deal damage in a similar manner, by flashing a bright light at enemies.
