Jump Booster Specialization: Is it Worth It?

Absolutely!

Unless you have a steady supply of end-game materials for crafting Stardust Energy Drinks, the Jump Booster Specialization is an excellent and cost-effective alternative. It offers a valuable boost early in the game, making it a worthwhile choice if you have the opportunity to unlock it.

While Jump Boosters only grant double jump for 30 seconds at a time, you can use them up to 5 times, and they are significantly cheaper than Stardust Energy Drinks.

After all, you only need to activate the Jump Booster when you encounter hard-to-reach areas. There is no need for double jump capability all the time, making it a practical choice for specific situations.

What is the Jump Booster Specialization?

Unlocks Jump Booster Formula

Jump Booster is a Machinist memetic specialization that unlocks the Jump Booster formula. This allows you to craft Jump Boosters, granting you the Double Jump ability for 30 seconds, which you can activate up to 5 times, for a total of 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Keep in mind that this specialization may not always be readily available, as it can only appear at Levels 5, 10, 15, and when selecting a Specialization, you will choose from four random options that cannot be rerolled.

If Jump Boosters are not an option for you, consider crafting Stardust Energy Drink instead.

You can unlock the recipe for Stardust Energy Drink by acquiring the Dishes IV Node, which requires 10 Ciphers and 5000 Energy Links. Additionally, you must have the prerequisite nodes unlocked.

To craft Stardust Energy Drinks, use an Electric Stove or Kitchen Set. The recipe includes: 2 Saffron, 5 Purified Water, 5 Sugar, and 3 Tungsten Ingots.

Unlike Jump Boosters, Stardust Energy Drinks provide the Skybound effect, granting you double jump ability for a full 30 minutes.
