How to Fuse Deviation: Deviation Fusion Explained

How Does Deviation Fusion Work?
Progress the Main Quest - Deviated Secure
Upon entering the scenario, you will need to progress a questline called Deviated Secure. This will trigger after you speak with the Chaotic Extradimensional Cat in the Verdant Arena. One of your objectives will be to builf a Fusion Pod, which will let you begin fusing your Deviations.
Combines Two Deviations From Your Inventory
Fusion works by combining two Deviations from your inventory, allowing you to have a unit with better stats. Results can vary depending on the units that you fuse and the materials that you include during the fusion. Fusing will also raise your Deviations Value, raising your total Dex Value once you register it to your Symbiosis.
How to Do Deviation Fusion
- Build a Fusion Pod
- Select Two Deviations From Your Inventory
- Select the Fusion Materials
- Inspect the Possible Results of Your Fusion
- Claim Your Fused Deviation
1. Build a Fusion Pod
Unlock the Fusion Pod Memetic under the Crafting tab. Once you have collected all the needed material, build the Fusion Pod on your base.
2. Select Two Deviations From Your Inventory
Select the Deviations that you want to use from your inventory. Make sure that they are not registered in the Symbiosis yet, or else they won't appear on the list. If the unit you want to fuse is already registered, click on the replace icon and select remove to put it back in your inventory.
Deviations Have Limited Fusion Chances
Be careful when fusing Deviations. Each unit has its Fusion Chances. Once this is all used up, you won't be able to use the same unit for fusion again.

3. Select the Fusion Materials
After selecting your Deviations, choose your fusion materials. Depending on the item that you use this can greatly change the stats or traits that your fused Deviation can inherit. Some can alter its appearance, while some can improve your chances of getting a specific trait or skill.
Use the Same Deviation as a Material If You Want To Raise Your Probabilities
To raise your chances of getting the Deviation that you want, use the same type of deviation as a Fusion Material to increase your chance rates!
4. Inspect the Possible Results of Your Fusion
After selecting your Deviations and Materials, take the time to read through the possible results of your fusion. This will be your last chance to do so before proceeding with the fusion.
Fusion Materials are Consumed After Use
Unlike the Deviation that you are fusing, which will return to your inventory if you choose it as a material, this unit will be consumed. This process is not reversible, so make sure that you really want to do it before proceeding.
5. Claim Your Fused Deviation
Fusion takes 10:00 minutes to complete. You can exit the screen and come back to the machine later to get your new Deviation. Once you claim your deviation, make sure to remove the two units that you used to place them back in your inventory.

Fusing is a good way of changing your units' skills and their traits. This is not only helpful in matches but also for your base if you need a deviation that has a specific trait. Remember that fusing is all about manipulating the probabilities to get the best result, so experiment with combinations until you get the perfect unit.
