Gear Crates are loot boxes that contain gear mods found in most settlements and hamlets in Once Human. See a map of all known gear crates, as a well as a list of each crate found in each region.

Gear Crate Map


The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.

  1. Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
  2. Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
  3. From here, click Mark as Acquired to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected, and add 1 to that pin type's Counter.
  4. To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to unclaimed.
  5. To check how many pins you have marked so far, check the Counter in the bottom left, and click the icon that looks like a checklist to see counters for all pin types.
  6. If the collected pins start to get in the way, you can hide them all by clicking the green Show Pins button on the left side.
Icon How to Use
Name Button.png Show Names
This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown.
Show Pins Button.png Show Pins
This button will toggle between showing and hiding all the pins which you have already marked as acquired.
Full Button.png Fullscreen
This button will change the map display to fill the screen.
Search Button.png Search Mode Toggle
This button will display a searchbar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name.
Icon Mode Button.png Icon Mode Toggle
In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again.
All Pins Button.png All Pins
This button is shown along with the Icons on the right when there are over 6 types of pins. Click it for a full selection of all available pin types.
Interactive Map Counter.png Counter
Tracks the number of pins you have of a certain type. The pin type shown is set to the page and currently cannot be changed; however, all pin type counters can be viewed by clicking the checklist icon on the right side.

This icon is found on the right side of the Counter. When a map has more than one pin type, click this icon to see Counters for all pin types.
Diablo 4 - Zoom In Zoom Out Icons.png Zoom In / Zoom Out
This icon is found on the top left side of the map. You can press these buttons, or use your scroll wheel while hovering, to Zoom In and Out of the interactive map.

Location Description: The Gear Crate is located in the middle of the crossroads of Throughville.
Once Human Weapon Crate - Sutherland Family Orchard
Coordinates: Approx. (7314, -5327)
Location: Sutherland Family Orchard
Location Description: Southeast of the location marker for Sutherland Family Orchard is a large white barn. Once you go inside, you will see what appears to be a Gear Crate; this is actually a Morphic Crate - a mimic, if you will. The real Gear Crate can be found in the farthest room on the second floor of the barn.

Coordinates: Approx. (6415, -4555)
Location: Brookham
Location Description: The first Brookham Armor Crate is located on a backyard porch of a house in a complex, north of the Brookham Church. Find a white house with a red roof among the group of houses north of the church. Find an entrance that gets you to the backyard, and the crate will be on the porch.

Location Description: A second Gear Crate can be found in Brookham. This gear crate can be found inside one of the lone sheds out on the field east of the Church.

Location: Coastside Plaza
Location Description: The Coastside Plaza Armor Crate can be found inside the convenience store. The store is a building with a blue sign that reads “MART” located on the street right across the Central Hospital. It may be easier to distinguish the building during the day than at night.

Location Description: The first Gear Crate in Dayton Hospital can be found inside the hospital. Head to the second floor and turn right toward the exit, then take a left on the balcony and make another left at the end. In this room, you will find the chest in the middle of two beds.

Location Description: The second Gear Crate can be found behind the statue in the plaza across the street of the Rift Anchor.

Location Description: Head inside the supermarket and go to the back room. If you turn right, you will see a partially open door and a way leading down. There will be a room with a door locked but there is a button next to it, press this button and the door will open. You will see the chest next to collapsed shelves.

Location Description: Enter a yellow house with a shed near the Rift Anchor, The Gear Crate should be in the bedroom.

Location: Hearst Industries
Location Description: You can find the Gear Crate in the Storage Area on the east part of Hearst Industries. There is a Scorcher near the crate so be careful when approaching.

Location Description: Located on the building next to the Storage Area, the Gear Crate is on the second floor. You can use the stairs located outside the storage building and cross to the other building from there. After crossing, turn right and go open the door, you will find the chest in the middle of the room.

Location Description: Near the Rift Anchor, there is a building on the right. Go the balcony and climb your way to the roof where the Gear Crate will be near sandbags.

Location Description: This Gear Crate is located on the southeast most building of the town of Harborside. There are a set of stairs that is submerged, if you dive under the crate will be in the room.

Location Description: In the house on the southwest most part of High Banks, the Gear Crate is found on the second floor balcony corner.

Location Description: You can find this Gear Crate in the middle of the intersecting rails of the Eastern Railway Junction.

Location Description: You can find this Gear Crate on top the train near the intersection. You can climb the front of the train to get to the top easily.

Location Description: The Gear Crate is located on the structure near the containers north of Sutherland Chemical Plant. You can use a container to boost your way up to the top where the crate is. It is being guarded by a Rainfall Reaper, so be careful.

Location Description: This Gear Crate is located the packaging building, next to the containers where the first Gear Crate is located. You can find it in the corner on the opposite side of the entrance of the building.

Location Description: Located near the park in the middle of Sunbury, it is surrounded by boxes and enemies. Get ready for a fight when getting this crate.

Location Description: This Gear Crate is located inside the motel across the park. Go to the second floor and enter the immediate room, you will see the crate on the left side of the room.

Location Description: You can find this gear crate in the middle of the tennis court behind the school. It is surrounded by enemies and an Arbiter, so be ready for a fight.

Location Description: This gear crate can be found on the lot near a helicopter in the southeast of Wild Dog Outpost. The elite enemy might be patrolling the area, so be careful.

Location Description: The gear crate can be found in the west of Gaia Research Center Ruins. It is found near the large radar.

Location Description: You can find this gear crate inside the main facility that is closed off by a gate. You can open the gate by using a Rosetta V1 Access Card that is dropped by enemies. Once there, enter the facility and you will see the crate along with the mystical crate inside a glass room that will need another Rosetta V2 Access Card that can only be dropped by the elite enemies. Once you have one, go to the console next the the door and it will unlock the door and you may enter and claim your prize.

Location Description: Located in the building across the compound where the mystical crate is on top. You will find the crate on the bird's nest on the top floor of the building.

Location Description: Located in the facility of the rift in the Gaia Cliff Monolith. Entering the facility turn right and you will see a room labeled 'Office Room', enter the room and you will see the gear crate.

Location Description: Located in the building close to the guarded entrance near the old oil refinery. You can find this crate on the ground floor of the building next to computers.

Location Description: You can find this gear crate inside the mansion. It will be found on a table in the dining room that is on the south east of the mansion.

What are Gear Crates?

Gear Crates are collectible crates that supply a player with a random gear mod upon acquisition. These mods in turn enhance the gear it is equipped to, improving your resistance and chances of survival.
