List of Contents
| Best Deviation Teams | |
|---|---|
| Early Game | Dr. Teddy, Invincible Sun, Festering Gel |
| Mid-Game | Flame Essence, Invincible Sun, Electric Eel |
| Endgame | Polar Jelly, Snow Globe, By-the-Wind |
| Teams | Healer / Support | DPS | Tank |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team 1 | Dr. Teddy |
Invincible Sun
|
Festering Gel
|
| It's best to build your team around Dr. Teddy (obtainable at the start). Dr. Teddy can heal allies and itself, making it very viable when taking on the Gyms or high-level strongholds. Invincible Sun should be the DPS because of its high AoE damage. Festering Gel has the best defense skill early game so should add it on your team! | |||
This is the best early-game team for levels 1–20 in Phase 1 of the Deviation: Survive, Collect, Preserve scenario. The trio is strong enough to clear most encounters, right up until you face the Chaos Extradimensional Cat in the Verdant Arena, which is required to progress and unlock level 30.
Best Starter Deviation in Deviation: SCP
| Deviation | Role |
|---|---|
Pup Buddy
|
Tank (Replace Festering Gel) |
Growshroom
|
Tank (Replace Festering Gel) |
Buzzy Bee
|
Support / Healer (Replace Dr. Teddy) |
Logging Beaver
|
AoE DPS (Replace Invincible Sun) |
Lethal Rabbit
|
Single-Target DPS (Replace Invincible Sun) |
| The Digby Boy | Single-Target DPS (Replace Invincible Sun) |
You can replace the deviations from the best team above with these deviations. These deviations can also do the role assigned to them, but not as effective as the deviations from the best team.
| Teams | DPS | DPS | DPS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team 1 |
Flame Essence
|
Invincible Sun
|
Electric Eel
|
| Electric Eel, Invincible Sun, and Flame Essence are pure DPS powerhouses. Flame Essence's Blazing Croak and Electric Eel’s High Voltage Ring can tear through enemies with ease in both PvE and PvP. Just watch out, as Invincible Sun's abilities can sometimes clip ceilings in enclosed gyms or smaller areas. | |||
As you progress through this scenario, you’ll find that stronger deviations make all the difference. A dedicated tank or support usually isn’t needed, but depending on the situation, like a PvP match or a tough gym battle, you may want to adjust your lineup. This DPS trio can handle most fights well, but don’t hesitate to swap them out when the situation calls for it.
| Deviation | Role |
|---|---|
Atomic Snail
|
Support - Atomic Snail’s Quantum Charge restores Psi Energy for your other deviations, and with the right team setup, it can carry you through even the toughest fights. Pair it with deviations that have strong Psi-Skills to get the most out of its support. |
Rain Man
|
DPS – Rain Man can serve as a solid replacement for Invincible Sun, especially in enclosed gyms or areas where Sun’s skills (like Meteor and Falling Starcore)tend to bug out. |
Masonic Pyramid
|
Support – Masonic Pyramid is a hidden gem, granting the ally with the lowest HP 2 seconds of invisibility, which breaks enemy lock-on and can turn the tide of a fight. Replace Invincible Sun if the fight gets tough. |
Logging Beaver
|
AoE DPS – Logging Beaver stays relevant thanks to its strong AoE damage. |
| Teams | DPS | DPS | DPS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team 1 |
Polar Jelly
|
Snow Globe
|
By-the-Wind
|
| Polar Jelly, Snow Globe, and By-The-Wind make a formidable team. Polar Jelly and Snow Globe's Frozen Snowscape unleash devastating AoEs, while By-The-Wind’s Psi Laser and Shield Ultimate keep the squad protected from projectiles. | |||
Unless you can inherit Tungsten or Aluminum from your Eternaland in Phase 1, capturing this powerful trio is difficult without upgraded Binding Grenades (IV or V) crafted from Tungsten or Aluminum.
| Deviation | Role |
|---|---|
Atomic Snail
|
Support – Atomic Snail’s Quantum Charge remains just as valuable in the endgame, keeping your team’s Psi Energy topped up when it matters most. |
Hydronaut Fish
|
DPS – Hydronaut Fish is constantly on the move, making it tricky for enemies to land hits and keeping it safer than most deviations. |
Snowsprite
|
DPS – Snowsprite can substitute for either Snow Globe or Polar Jelly, bringing its own value with reliable AoE knockdowns to control the fight. |
Electric Eel
|
DPS – Electric Eel remains surprisingly strong thanks to its massive AoE nova, which is hard for enemies to dodge and covers nearly the entire arena. |

The DPS deviations are the ones who will provide the damage for the team. They have the highest attack stat out of all roles, but they lack HP and defense.
All of their skills can deal high damage to a single target or multiple targets.

Tanks are the ones who will take the front and absorb all the attacks from enemies. They naturally have higher HP and defense compared to other deviations, but they lack damage.
The effects of their skills are usually defense increase or crowd-control. Some tanks can also heal themselves, allowing them to stay longer in battle.

Support and Healer Deviations provide buffs and healing to other deviations and sometimes the player as well. It is always better to have a Support or a Healer in a team to ensure the other deviations survive and defeat the enemies.

Best Early Game Team is invalid, dr teddy is above lvl 20
