Best Weapon Accessories to Get First

Compact Flashlight and Mini Reflex Sight

Once Human - Buy Compact Flash Light and Mini Reflex Sight

These two accessories are the best accessories to get first, as they both increase the stability, reducing recoil to ensure you maximize the damage of the weapons they're able to attach to. They can be bought for 1000 Energy Links from Weber in Deadsville, the first safe zone you have access to.

Buy Accessories from Other Camps

Once Human - Buy from Other Shops

As you progress the game, you'll be able to go to other camps or safe zones in farther areas. Some of the merchants in the safe zones sell you accessories that cater to your weapons' needs.

Many of the better weapon effects or features are great for assault rifles and LMGs, since they can trigger the effect much faster due to their high fire rate. Partner these weapon types with accessories that increase stability and reload speed to improve the weapon's performance.

Weapon Stats Explained

Stability

Once Human - Tactics

Stability directly affects the recoil of a weapon. The lower the recoil value, the more control you have over the weapon when firing. Stability is especially important for weapons with a high rate of fire.

Accuracy

Once Human - Muzzle

Accuracy affects the firing spread angle of a weapon. This means that bullets may exit the barrel at different angles, causing shots to deviate from the crosshair's target.

Range

Once Human - Optics

Range determines how far your weapons can reach a target. This is important for sniper rifles, as they are best suited for long-ranged combat. The farther you are from your target, the higher the damage you deal and the less likely they are to spot you.

Reload Speed

Once Human - Magazine

Reload speed is exactly what it sounds like; it affects how fast you can reload your weapon. Some mods offer solutions to improve reload speed, such as the Reload Rampage mod, which automatically refills 2 bullets from reserves after killing an enemy.

This is great for sniper rifles against large groups of mobs, as you can land headshots non-stop, granted that they get instantly killed.

Mobility

While this isn't shown in a weapon's stats, it is present in-game and can be found by expanding the details of accessories in the Gear menu. Mobility affects how fast you move during ADS (Aim Down Sights), OTS (Over the Shoulder), or Hip Fire. The higher the mobility, the faster you can move while firing your weapon.
