Inspired by real-world culinary mastery, the Chef class leaves rigid recipes behind and embraces pure creativity. You’ll freely combine ingredients into custom dishes with powerful effects - and the more you cook, the better your results.
The devs are also revamping existing food to reduce repetitive buffs and expand creative effects - even for non-chefs.

The Gardener turns farming into mad science. By grafting crops with biomechanical parts from Deviants, they grow bizarre hybrids that can fight, harvest, and even guard their turf. With the Portable Planter Box, their mutant plants go wherever they do - because in Nalcott, even your garden can throw hands.

Each class comes with a Core Ability and three unique Talents. The Core Ability fundamentally alters the way you play, while the Talents offer specialized advantages that reinforce the class’s identity and strengths.
You’ll also receive class-specific starting items to jump right into your new role. Whether you’re a culinary pioneer, bio-farmer, or beast-bonded trailblazer, there’s a class for you.

If you're unsure which class to pick, you can choose to become a Free Person. This neutral role has no special abilities or talents, but you'll receive a class-change item that lets you switch to any available class whenever you're ready.
