The treasure in A Family Legacy side quest is found in a Rosetta laboratory at the coordinates (6929, -1673).

The laboratory is in the building with the Rift Anchor Alternate Reality Research Institute.

How to Get Family Legacy Treasure

Starting from the north side of the building, head up the stairs until you reach an elevator. Turn left and go up another flight of stairs until you reach the laboratory.

The treasure is located on the northeast corner of the room. Open the treasure to complete the side quest.

Note: that this region has a recommended level of 48, so expect heavy resistance at the premises.

Examine Mae's Diary in Red Sands

Once Human - Examine Mae

Start the A Family Legacy side quest by examining Mae's Diary found on the floor of their home at the coordinates (4490, -2272) in Red Sands.

Rotate the first three blocks so they spell out “U6D” to spawn a chest in the corner of the room containing a treasure map. The location of the treasure map is to the east at the Rift Anchor Alternate Reality Research Institute.
