Server Wipes Explained: When is the Next Server Wipe?

Once Human - Server Wipes Explained: When Is The Next Server Wipe?

The date of the next Server Wipe, which is a game mechanic in Once Human that resets the entire server, is currently unknown. See when the next server wipe is, an explanation of what a server wipe is, and what is kept after a server wipe in this guide!

When is the Next Server Wipe?

Currently No Confirmed Date

There is currently no confirmed date for the next server wipe. However, as the current Season Scenario is slated to run for six weeks, it is likely that servers will be wiped after it finishes.

What is a Server Wipe?

Mechanic That Resets the Server

A Server Wipe is an in-game mechanic that will reset progress for the Once Human servers. The map of the world, structures built, as well as some aspects of the player's character will be affected and reset.

Tied to the Seasonal Scenario

Once Human - Manibus Scenario

The Once Human team has explained that Seasonal Scenarios are meant to introduce new ways to experience the game.

The Manibus and Evolution's Call scenarios have been confirmed to last for six weeks, and there is a chance that servers will be wiped once these six weeks are finished.

Resets Characters and Maps

A new season and server wipe will bring all characters back to Level 1, and reset the Map Exploration Progress as well. This is to ensure a level playing field at the beginning of a new season.

What is Kept After a Server Wipe?

After a Server Wipe, there is still certain content that will be carried over. These in-game items will be retained in the player's account as seasons change.

  1. Items and Deviants
  2. Important Currency
  3. Gear Blueprints
  4. Furniture Formulas
  5. Cosmetics
  6. House Blueprints
  7. Story Progress
  8. Friends List
  9. In-Game Resources

Items and Deviants

Your items and deviants can be carried over to the new season! At the end of a season, all your items and deviants will be transferred over to your Spacetime Backpack. From there, you can transfer them to your current server in the new season using Material Points.

You'll be given 20,000 material points to spend on your items. The material points needed to transfer an item or deviant varies, so make sure you're only transferring those that are super important that you can't get easily in your new server.

Important Currency

Players will keep the following currencies throughout server and season changes: Starchroms, Crystgins, Mitsuko's Marks, Stellar Planula, and Sproutlets.

Gear Blueprints

Gear Blueprints will be retained along with their star levels. Players will also retain Blueprint Fragments, Weapon Accessories, and Mods.

Furniture Formulas

All Furniture Formulas, except those unlocked via the player's Memetics, will be kept throughout seasons.

Cosmetics

Once Human - Cosmetics Interface

Cosmetic items such as Poses and Expressions or Namecards, are also kept as seasons change.

House Blueprints

After saving their House Blueprint, players can reconstruct it as they wish. This process will use basic materials if advanced materials are not yet available.

Story Progress

Main and Side Story Task Progress will be retained. For previously completed tasks, more streamlined versions with their full rewards will become available in a new season.

Friends List

Players will retain their Friends List as the seasons and servers change.

In-Game Resources

In-game resources such as ammunition, raw materials, and medicine will only partially be carried over into a new season. This means that not all of these stockpiled materials will be available to players at the start of a new season.
