Start the An Act of Theft side quest by going to a certain spot in Brookham, around the coordinates (6590, -4487). The quest will automatically start when you approach the area by some cars on the street.

Collect the Five Ancient Books

Once Human - Collect the Five Ancient Books

Collect the five ancient books scattered around Brookham. Simply follow the quest markers and you'll find them out in the open, unobscured by puzzles.

Start collecting the books nearest you and get the one in the church last to avoid backtracking as the quest ends there.

Complete the Ceremony

Once Human - Complete the Ceremony

After collecting all five ancient books, place them on the spot behind the pulpit and complete the ceremony to conclude the side quest.
