The Main Quest is designed to teach you the essentials of the game. By following the Main Quest, you'll become familiar with the core mechanics, such as combat, resource gathering, crafting, and base building.
The ideal base location is an area with plenty of resources so you don't have to go out of your way to gather them.
This will also speed up the automatic farming of your deviants, allowing you to gather more resources in less time.
Acquire food by hunting animals, harvesting crops, and fishing.
Unlock the Stove and eventually the Electric Stove in the Memetics under Logistics as soon as possible to cook food safely. You can also make Roasted Meat at a Camp. Some foods can be dangerous if eaten raw!

You can also modify and customize your motorcycle, which will improve its handling, speed, durability, and gas tank size.

Teleport from one location to another via Teleportation Towers to quickly move between areas. You'll have to activate these towers for them to work. These towers additionally allow you to switch between worlds on the server.
You can also teleport to your base from anywhere on the map for free. This cannot be done in quick succession, as there is a cooldown period after teleporting to your base.
