You can find this gear crate inside the mansion. It will be found on a table in the dining room that is on the south east of the mansion.

To reach the Mystical Crate, you'll need to get the Key Card on the second floor of the building where you found Weapon Crate #1, then head inside the contaminated-looking area behind the elevator, use the key card to open the door, and find the Mystical Crate inside.

You can use the museum door as cover as you shoot at him. It will be difficult because the creature moves around a lot but if you prepare additional ammo you can outlast him.
