Do not talk to Chuckles. Press Q to activate spacetime and follow the cable. Tell Chuckles you need some fresh air. Enter the door and sneak up on the other Chuckles to kill him. Disable the rouletter cheating device. Win the game against Chuckles.

Do Not Talk to Chuckles

The first thing you need to do in order to win against Chuckles is to not talk to him. No matter what you choose from the choices he's given you, you'll always end up losing to him.

Press Q to Activate Spacetime and Follow the Cable

Instead, you'll want to press Q to activate Spacetime. Doing so will highlight a cable that leads to a wall. Follow it to see another Chuckles behind a wall who's been rigging the game.

Tell Chuckles You Need Some Fresh Air

Unfortunately, you can't get to the other Chuckles yet. Go back to the original Chuckles and tell him you'll need some fresh air. Doing so will open the door nearby.

Enter the Door and Sneak Up on the Other Chuckles to Kill Him

Enter the door that just opened and press C to crouch. Quietly sneak up on the other Chuckles until a prompt tells you to backstab him.

Note that you can't use your guns in this quest. The only way you can kill the other Chuckles is by sneaking up on him and backstabbing him with your melee weapon.

Disable the Roulette Cheating Device

Once you've taken down the other Chuckles, interact with the Roulette Cheating Device to disable it and go back to Chuckles.

Win the Game Against Chuckles

Win against Chuckles by accepting his challenge and selecting the dialogue option “I'll pull the trigger.”

Another cutscene will play out and capture the Voodoo Doll deviant, to end the side quest.

How to Start Carnival of Doom

Interact with the Pistol at the Junkyard in Broken Delta

The Carnival of Doom side quest unlocks automatically as you progress through the main quest. Head to the Junkyard in Broken Delta, southwest of Meyer's Market.

Enter the warehouse, dispatch the Rosetta Soldiers, and interact with the pistol to start the quest.
