Once Human - Public Multiplayer Event
Prime War is a public PVE event where players would have to prevent enemies from destroying the Staroid Resonator. Each Prime War would have a gigantic boss to fight, as well as smaller enemies.

To start a Prime War, players must go to the Prime War location and place the required amount of Staroid on the Resonator.

How to Win Prime Wars

Steps on How To Win Prime Wars

Gather Allies

Prime Wars is a server-wide activity, which means that any player on any world can join in and fight. The encounters can be quite challenging, so it is recommended that you go with a Hive or an entire warband.

You can also use the map chat to call for backup and pin your coordinates to let others know where they can join the fight. It is a great way to get extra help when you need it.

Up to 40 players will be able to participate in the Prime War.

Make Sure You're At the Appropriate Level

Once Human - Make Sure You
Prime War enemies would have different stats for each difficulty level. Therefore, it is recommended that players reach the required level to be able to deal enough damage to enemies at any given time.

Set up the Defenses

Once Human - Setup the Defenses
At the beginning of the encounter, players can set up turrets and wall defenses to prevent enemies from destroying the Staroid Restrainer. It is important to note that Gatling Turrets are required to breach the boss's shield.

Players can use either the Biomass or Red Plasma missile in the Gatling turret. Certain memetics can help the player craft the missiles, such as the Biomass Missile: Ample Munition.

Also, keep in mind that Gatling Cannons and Turrets are now categorized as special buildings. They do not count toward the construction limits of other defensive installations, giving you more flexibility in your setup.

Stop Enemies From Reaching the Staroid Resonator

Once Human - Stop Enemies From Reaching the Staroid Resonator
To win the Prime War, players must prevent enemy targets from destroying the Staroid Resonator. In addition to the boss, other enemies may spawn during the encounter. Kill them quickly and make sure none of them can reach the Staroid Resonator.

Keep an eye on the on-screen display showing your Staroid facility’s durability. It is your go-to gauge for staying on top of things!

Break the Boss’ Shield

Once Human - Break the Boss’ Shield
When the setup phase ends, the boss will appear. Use the Gatling Turrets to remove the boss's shield. Once the shield is down, the boss can be damaged by conventional firearms. The shield will regenerate in 30 seconds after it is broken, but it can be broken again via Gatling turrets.

Once the boss phase kicks off, your buildings and defenses are in lockdown mode—protected and untouchable by other players.

Stop Its Final Attack

Once Human - Stop Its Final Attack
Once the boss's HP is low enough, it will launch a final attack. The mechanics are slightly different for each boss, but it all boils down to shooting a specific target. Complete the mechanic to end the encounter.

After finishing a Prime War, there is a 5-minute cooldown before you can dive into another one at the same location.

Prime War Rewards

Obtain Starchroms and Stardust's Advent Crate

Once Human - Obtain Starchroms and Stardust
Completing the Prime War will reward the player with Stardust Advent crates and Starchroms upon first completion. The number of crates awarded is based on the player's rating for the encounter.

Prime War Rating

Once Human - Prime War Rating
The player's rating depends on four factors:

  • Damage done to the shield of the boss
  • The amount of damage done to the boss (when the shield is down)
  • Damage done by the boss to the structures of the player
  • Healing and reviving players

The final score determines the number of Stardust Advent Boxes the player receives, up to a maximum of three.
