How to Get Side Quests

Approach Blue Exclamation Points in the Map

Side quests are obtained by finding quest givers indicated by blue exclamation points on the map. Hovering over the side quests with the map opened will show the recommended level and a brief description of the quest.

How to Track Side Quests

Side quests can be tracked by opening the task list and pressing the F key. The task list can be accessed either through the map or by pressing its shortcut bound to the L key.

What Are Side Quests?

Optional Quests With Rewards

Side Quests are optional quests that give rewards and contain lore and story bits about the world and its inhabitants.

These are not a requirement to progress through the story quests but are recommended for the extra resources.

How to Get Commissions

Summon V

Commissions are accessed by summoning V from anywhere on the map by holding the Tab key and selecting View Commissions.

Alternatively, you can also talk to designated NPCs indicated by a clipboard icon in various settlements.

What Are Commissions?

Seasonal Weekly Quests

Commissions are a set of weekly quests that refresh every season. You only need to finish 5 commissions to obtain the week's rewards and move on to the next set of weekly commissions.

Commissions are tasks that you can complete naturally as you play the game, but you can reroll them if they don't suit your play style, up to 6 times.

Commissions are a great way to level up in Once Human so make sure you complete them as soon as they're available!

Unlocked Upon Reaching Deadville

The first set of commissions are unlocked when you reach Deadville early on in the campaign. Commissions can be viewed by talking to the NPC Larry Duvall found in the settlement or summoning V via the Tab key.

If you do not have access to Commissions when you arrive in Deadville, you may have to progress or complete more missions.
