Toggle Chaos State

Once Human - Chaos State Determines PvP Status

Toggle the Chaos State with the P key to turn on PvP mode from anywhere on the map. Note that players in the Chaos State can only harm others who are also in the Chaos State.

Players in different parties who have their Chaos State turned on can then immediately attack each other. Players need to be at least level 11 to toggle the Chaos State.

Purify Echo Stone

Once Human - Echo Stones Activate Chaos State

Purifying Echo Stones opens up your base for raids where you'll need to defend your territory. The opposite also holds true where you can instead raid the territory of other players who are purifying their own Echo Stones.

Echo Stones can be purified in your territory to convert them into the valuable resource Starchrom.

Defending and Raiding Bases

When you purify Echo Stones, your base is marked on the map, allowing other players to raid and steal your items. Players who enter your territory will have their Chaos State automatically turned on.

Conversely, if you spot other players purifying their own Echo Stones, you can raid their base instead!

Join a Hive or Warband

It's recommended to defend your territory or raid a base together with a Hive or Warband to maximize your chances of success. Use the message boards below to recruit or join other players.

Join Territory Wars

An alternate PvP mode is available where Warbands compete for territory called Frontiers and Engagement Zones. These are indicated by pumpjack icons on the map and give Warbands various rewards.

Warbands who wish to conquer a Frontier will need to outbid other Warbands to earn the privilege of raiding a controlled Frontier.

Join Public Crisis Events

Once Human - Public Crisis Events

Joining any Public Crisis Event automatically puts you in PvP mode. These events can be found all over the map and have a limited time to complete. You will be in PvP mode until you finish the event you are joining.

Secure a Prism Deviation

Prism Deviations are a special type of Deviation as securing these will increase your faction's Prism Energy. Securing these can take 30 minutes up to 2 hours depending on rarity so be prepared to defend yourself!

How to Secure Prism Deviations

Go to Contest Areas

Once Human - Safe zones and contest areas

The map in Prismverse's Clash will be split up in safe zones and contest areas, with contest areas being the PvP zone for both factions. Entering any contest area immediately puts you in PvP mode so be careful of where you go on this server.

As a server enters a new phase, areas of the map will open up and become either safe zones or contest area. Be sure to always check your map to distinguish each zone.

Join Public Crisis Events

Once Human - Public Crisis Events

Most of the Prism Deviants can be found by participating in Public Crisis Events. These are events in contest areas where Prism Deviations are always guaranteed to appear.

How to Survive PvP

General Tips on PvP

Play With Friends

One way to enjoy playing PvP is with friends. You can all choose to be in the same server and team up to defeat other players or have a battle royale.

You can also form a Hive with your friends, or if you are more than three, you can form a Warband.

Run Away If Necessary

Once Human - Switch Worlds

There is no shame in running away from enemies, especially higher-level enemy players who are out there for blood.

One way to run away is to change Worlds. You can do this by accessing a nearby Teleportation Tower.

How to Change Worlds

Gear Up!

If you are hellbent on attacking enemy players or believe you can fight back, then the most important thing to remember is to be well-equipped.

Have your best equipment and weapons at the ready and always have healing items in your inventory.

Build Base Protection

Once Human - Turrets

In case a random player in Chaos State attempts to raid and destroy your base, building base protection is a must.

You can build turrets to protect your base as these artilleries will be your first line of defense.

Communicate With Your Teammates

Once Human - Communicate with your team

Talk to your team either using the voice (F5) or text (F1) chat to make sure you are all following the same strategy. This is especially crucial when taking on other players as you can adjust strategies on the fly.
