How to Build a Mobile Base

In Once Human, players can build a mobile base by unlocking the Large Garage, building a truck in the garage, and then building a house on that truck. Find out how to build a mobile base in this guide.

Unlock the Large Garage in Memetics

To build a mobile base, players must first unlock the Large Garage node in the Memetics screen. This will unlock the blueprints to build the Large Garage, as well as other items needed for the mobile base.

Build the Large Garage in Build Mode

Once the Large Garage node is unlocked, press B to enter Build Mode, then right-click to bring up a list of blueprints.

Navigate to Facilities, and head to the bottom of the Production Processing tab to find and build the Large Garage. The garage is a big facility, so be sure to have ample space in the base for it.

Construct the Truck Parts in the Large Garage

Walk up to the Large Garage and interact with it using the F key when prompted. This will bring up the Vehicles interface, from which you can start crafting the parts needed to build the truck for the mobile base.

Once all the parts have been created, the truck can now be constructed in the Vehicles interface using all of the crafted parts. Press and hold the F key to do so.

Build a House on a Truck

To build a house on a truck, players need to approach the truck and press B to once again enter Build Mode. Near the vicinity of the truck, players are limited to building facilities and structures that can be placed on the truck.

Ceilings will serve as the base of the build, and players can add several facilities, crafting stations, as well as defensive structures like turrets to their mobile base. Note that space is limited on the truck's back, so build compactly.
