Once Human

How to Get Snowsprite

Snowsprite is a new combat deviant that specializes in Ice Skills and was introduced in Once Human's Way of Winter Scenario. Read on and find out how to get the Snowsprite deviant and its location, how to use it, how to raise its mood and power, and the skills of Snowsprite!

How to Get Snowsprite

Part of the Deviant: Snowsprite Quest

After speaking with Lowe for the first time in Onyx Tundra's Camp Igloo, he'll clue you in to three quests related to Deviants. One of these is the Deviant: Snowsprite Quest.

As the name suggests, you can unlock the Snowsprite Deviant as part of this quest.

# Step by Step Objectives
1
You'll have to speak with Ridley, Camp Igloo's Head of Security, and assist with his request to investigate the Moose City Food Factory and strange reports of temperature drops affecting their food production.

When you arrive at the Food Factory, V will comment about how chillingly cold it is. You'll also notice that several NPCs are frozen in place, and that there are large ice crystals blocking off paths around the factory.
2
To progress with the quest, you'll have to access the generator which is currently encased in ice. Use a fire source such as a torch, or a molotov to melt down the frost and reveal the generator's console.
3
Once you can access the control panel, V notes that you'll need a keycard to activate the generator. The keycard is in the possession of a worker who is also frozen in ice. Look for the largest frozen structure and melt it down to reveal the person you'll get the keycard from.
4
After retrieving the keycard, return to the generator to activate it. The teleportation gate will still be unavailable. Head through the storage and find the path underneath it to find a hidden room that is also blocked by ice.
5
You can again use a Torch or Molotov to thaw the path clear. You'll find the Snowsprite Deviant in the next room for you to capture.

CheckmarkIn a Cold Environment.

To boost Snowsprite's Deviant Power and Mood Regeneration, place its Securement Unit in a location where it is in a cold environment exposed to Green and Blue Light.

An environment that is between -30°C to - 5°C is considered cold, and Green and Blue Lights can be built from the Furniture Menu. Both lights can be unlocked from the Basic Furniture II Node in the Building Memetics Skill Tree.

How to Use Snowsprite

Snowsprite is a Combat Deviant whose abilities center around dealing Ice DMG to enemies. Its two skills lets you choose between a direct, offensive approach, or a more strategic tactical approach.

Designate Target to Directly Deal Ice Damage

By designating a target, Snowsprite will form ice crystals from range to land a direct hit on enemies in the direction you are facing. This allows for a straightforward way to deal damage.

Auto Attack Spawns Ice Crystals

Auto Attack will periodically spawn Ice Crystals next to the enemies. These crystals won't explode and deal damage until you shatter them by shooting at them. Enemies caught in the blast will receive Frost Damage, which makes for a tactical option against swarms of opponents.
