The Phantom gains its 2nd Speciality at level 12 (like all other classes). Its effects guarantees all status ailments to be inflicted to its target as long as they're not immune to them. Adam is not immune to Contagion, Paralysis, Poison, and Charm.
Once you have poisoned Adam, the time will come for your Phantom to shine. Combining weapons like dual Rippers with Phantom's Dual Wield ability plus Milk Poison will deal massive damage to Adam. This is a very effective way to defeat him quickly. If your Phantom is buffed, you can see upwards of 9000 damage or more per hit. Not to mention, Adam will be taking poison damage every turn as well. Just make sure to have a Shieldmaster defending your Phantom from Adam's counters.
Use Compounding to stun-lock Adam with paralysis and unleash strong attacks against him while he's rendered unable to act!
Adam's damage can easily eliminate more fragile team members with ease. Having a wall character to block all damage is a huge plus in surviving this battle.
It is even highly suggested to leave allies on Critical HP to trigger the Shieldmaster's speciality.
This may sound strange since Adam counters buffs with an Elemental Blades attack, these attacks cost a lot of HP from Adam.
Baiting this attack using a buff then blocking it via Shieldmaster's Defend the People will quickly burn Adam's HP pool!
Once you have made a proper setup (all allies in critical HP, Shieldmaster in full health), you can just use all the BP that your Shieldmaster has to use Flash the cash to deal fixed damage to Adam.
Even if your tank equips only defensive items, this move will still do a ton of damage and it will grow stronger the more levels you get.
Once Adam's HP falls to a severely critical level, he will use his last move Deathstorm to attempt to bring your whole party down. To survive this, try paralyzing Adam when his HP is low and burst him down.
Another strategy is bringing your full party to critical HP except the Shieldmaster. Use Shieldmaster's ability to block all 10 attacks.
The third method is to use Jump, and the last method we have confirmed is to use the Spiritmaster's Reraise on all party members (this is easier with White Mage's 2nd Speciality).
Lastly, if your Oracle didn't die during the 1st parts of the fight and has equipped his Noble Sacrifice support ability, you should automatically survive the attack.
