Vespus Hex Movesets

Bewitch Charms a target.
Sting Damages a single target.
Used as a counter against physical attacks.

Vespus Hex Strategy

Beware of Charm

Vespus Hex can use Bewitch to charm a target. If left alone, it can even possible use restorative effects on Vespus or kill an ally.

When an ally is charmed, immediately have one character attack them to remove the charm ailment.

Weak to Light

Bravely Default II - Petunia.png

Similar to the Pictodemons, Vespus Hex is weak against light. You can capture Petunias in the woods using the Beastmaster and use Off the Chain or Off the Leash to use Banishra against the giant insect.

Weak to Bows

Since Vespus Hex is weak to bows, the Ranger class is excellent for this fight. Together with Bug Slayer, Vespus Hex's HP will rapidly fall from the Ranger's assaults.
