The Red Mage is capble of unleashing status ailments based on the elemental magic they have used. To further expand this, we highly suggest equipping the Black Mage as a Sub-Job to the Red Mage to expand the amount of status ailments it can inflicts to enemies!
Also applies to healing abilities against undead enemies.
The Red Mage's 2nd Speciality Chain Spell causes the caster to cast the spell a 2nd time for free. This is one of the biggest powerspikes of mage classes and it is highly suggested to max the Red Mage class immediately for this ability.
