New jobs have been added to Bravely Default 2. Some classes may be familiar to long-time JRPG players.
Bravely Default II lets you combine two jobs by assigning them as a Main Job or a Sub-Job.
This new feature allows players to mix and match Jobs and create specialized or jack of all trades Job combinations.
Bravely Default II introduces a new card game called Bind & Divide (B 'n' D). Play against NPCs around Excillant and collect cards along the way.
Enemies can now be seen roaming around in the overworld. This allows you to directly choose to fight or avoid them.
Enemies will also either run towards you or away from you depending on your level.
Unlike the previous games, Bravely Default II uses the Active Time Battle (ATB) system. During an encounter, you can check if an enemy is about to attack if they have two exclamation points (!!).
Also, the yellow gauge below the party member's HP and MP signifies their turn in the battle.
Bravely Default II adds bonus Job Points (JP) when leveling up low-level Jobs. This encourages players to try out all of the Jobs that the game has to offer.
