Complete Truff's Second Quest

Bravely Default 2 - Truff 2nd Quest Map Location
After obtaining the Berserker Job, head north of Savalon to find Truff slumped down in front of a fallen tree.

Complete his quest, Human's Best Friend: Part II, to gain the ability to cut down trees.

How to Cut Down Trees

Bravely Default 2 - How to Cut Down Tree
To cut down trees, stand next to one and press the Y button to cut it down.

Head to Hydrangea Hills

Head back to Savalon and fast travel Halcyonia. Head north of the town and enter Hydrangea Hills.

Bravely Default 2 - Hydrangea Hills Chest
Head through the dungeon. Stick to the west side of the area until you find a chest and a Lost Souls enemy on a high ledge.

Bravely Default 2 - Hydrangea Hills Green Tree Arrow
Head south from the high ledge and cut down the green tree to cross the stone bridge leading to the chest.

Bravely Default 2 - Hydragenea Hills Chest Oak Staff
Open the chest and defeat the monsters inside to retrieve the Oak Staff.
