Pokemon Sleep's Holiday event for 2024 will take place at the Greengrass Isle research area from December 23 to December 30, with December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 25 (Christmas Day) giving players additional gifts.
The Holiday event is only available to players who choose Greengrass Isle as their research area for the week.
Normally the favorite Berries of the Greengrass Isle Snorlax is random, but during this event week, the Snorlax on this island is guaranteed to have the Rawst Berry as one of its favorite Berries.

The holiday event allows players to get more Dream Shards than normal. During this event, Dream Shards you obtain during sleep research will be doubled (x2), except during the last day of the event (December 29), where the Dream Shards you obtain will be tripled (x3)!

During the event, Pokemon with the Main Skill Dream Shard Magnet S will be twice as effective. This means that the amount of Dream Shards these Pokemon recieve when their skills trigger will be doubled.

Shiny Hunting Guide: How to Get Shiny Pokemon
The Holiday 2024 event will once again implement the limited-time feature called Candy Boost, which will give your Pokemon double the effect from Candies!
The Candy Boost function allows your helper Pokemon to get twice the amount of EXP from Candies, in exchange for using more Dream Shards per Candy than usual.
The amount of Dream Shards used with this boost varies depending on the level of your Pokemon. However, this is usually about 6x the usual amount of Dream Shards or more.
In order to activate the Candy Boost feature, go to your Pokemon Box. Tap on the Pokemon that wants to earn EXP from Candies, and tap on Level Up.
The Candy Boost toggle should be on the upper right corner of this Level Up screen. If it has a check mark, that means it is active. It should also tell you in the next screen once you've set the amount of Candy you want to use that more Dream Shards than usual will be used.

During the Holiday 2024 event, Ice-type Pokemon will be more helpful. Ice types will be able to pick up one extra ingredient, have an increased main skill chance at 1.5x the normal rate, and have their main skill level increased by 1, making these the best Pokemon to have on your helper team for this event week.
On December 24 and December 25, a Dream Gift will appear near Snorlax. One Dream Gift can be claimed per day. The possible gift contents are currently unknown, but the previous Dream Gift feature during the First Anniversary Fest had several Type Candies and Incenses as rewards.

The missions for this year’s event will likely be the same as the missions from last year. However, the rewards are sure to be different.
Since there are several new Pokemon being added during this event, we will likely get Pokemon Incense for Eevee (Holiday), Pawmi, and Alolan Vulpix as mission rewards.

A special Holiday-themed Eevee will join Holiday Pikachu during this event! This Eevee likely cannot be evolved and may have different helping stats from the standard Eevee.

Aside from the newly introduced Pokemon, the Spheal line, Glaceon, Delibird, Snover, and Abomasnow can also be encountered more often during this Christmas event, though not as frequently as the special Pikachu and Eevee.
