Chance to Encounter a Shiny Pokemon!

The Shiny odds seem to be boosted for all Pokemon during this event! The event bonuses that are listed when starting a sleep session show that there is a greater Shiny appearance rate for Pokemon that appear during sleep research. Since no specific Pokemon was specified, we can assume the boosted odds apply to all.

Event-Limited Function: Candy Boost

Pokemon Sleep - Candy Boost Dream Shards
The Christmas event introduces an event-limited feature called Candy Boost, which will give your Pokemon double the effect from Candies!

The Candy Boost function allows your helper Pokemon to get twice the amount of EXP from Candies, in exchange for using more Dream Shards per Candy than usual.

The amount of Dream Shards used with this boost varies depending on the level of your Pokemon. However, this is usually about 6x the usual amount of Dream Shards or more.

Tap on Upper Right Corner of Level Up Screen to Turn On Candy Boost

In order to activate the Candy Boost feature, go to your Pokemon Box. Tap on the Pokemon that wants to earn EXP from Candies, and tap on Level Up.

The Candy Boost toggle should be on the upper right corner of this Level Up screen. If it has a check mark, that means it is active. It should also tell you in the next screen once you've set the amount of Candy you want to use that more Dream Shards than usual will be used.
