A new Ribbon feature will be added to Pokemon Sleep during an update in early August, which adds the Good-Night Ribbon to the game.
This new Ribbon feature will increase helper stats depending on the amount of sleeping time shared with your Pokemon, along with various effects, such as a special Icon, and shorter help frequency!
For the announcement on Pokemon Sleep's global anniversary day, a gift is being released in just a few hours! This gift contains 2000 Sleep Points, a Main Skill Seed, 10 Poke Biscuits, and 3 Friend Incense.
This gift will be distributed starting on July 20, 3 AM UTC until September 23, 4 AM UTC.
A new event that will make it easier to encounter Sleep Styles that you don't have registered yet will be introduced in late September!
The Good Sleep Day event will also be receiving a similar bonus effect starting in October to help players complete their Sleep Style Dex.
More information about the big August update has been released. In this update, some 3-star Sleep Styles will be added to Greengrass Isle. This island is known for not having 3-star styles for most Pokemon, so it may become a more viable weekly island choice if more Sleep Styles become available.
Other improvements include increasing the Strength of certain dishes, which will mean increasing the amount of ingredients, and Skills Specialty Pokemon having the ability to bank their main skill uses, allowing them to store up to two uses of their main skill.
Tapping on a Skills Specialty Pokemon with two stored uses may make their skill trigger twice in one tap. Stored main skills will disappear when the Pokemon is switched out of the team. More main skills are also planned to be added in the future with these mechanics changes in mind.

In the planned August update, rewards for following your bedtime and conducting sleep research will be expanded on, making going to sleep on time more rewarding. The 7-day Bedtime Rewards Stamp Card is expected to have the same number of days, but the number of each item you can obtain may increase.
Sleep EXP and Dream Shard rewards from sleep research will be increased. The 5% area bonus earned after every week will also be transferrable to other research areas upon reaching the maximum area bonus limit.
Best Bed Times and Bedtime Rewards
An update for August has been announced to change the maximum levels of research rank, Pokemon level, main skills, recipe level, and ingredient bag capacity. With this update, the third ingredient of Pokemon should finally be unlockable.

All Max Level Caps and Upgrade Limits
For the very first news announcement of the anniversary event, a new item has been added called the Ultra Biscuit! This gives more friendship points than a Great Biscuit and can be purchased at the General Store for 400 Diamonds each. Only three Ultra Biscuits can be purchased each month.
A free Ultra Biscuit gift is also being given away to commemorate this new item addition. The distribution period for the gift is from July 15 to September 23, 2024.
Ultra Biscuit Release Commemorative Gift
For one week starting from July 14, 2024 at 10 PM UTC, a news announcement will be made every day. This should cover the entire first week of the First Anniversary Fest event celebration, helping make each day more special.
The final news announcement will be released at 10 PM UTC on July 20, 2024. Though July 20 is Pokemon Sleep's global anniversary date, it tends to follow Japan time when it comes to events. This means that we can expect the big anniversary day news announcement to be made on July 19, 10 PM UTC, which will be July 20 in Japan.
