The Second Anniversary Prelude takes place from July 7 to 14 in Pokemon Sleep, in preparation for the second anniversary event the following week. Read on for more information about this event, the event bonuses, the featured Pokemon, and how to claim the daily 150 bonus sleep points.

The Second Anniversary Prelude event will take place from July 7, 2025, 4:00 AM local time until July 14, 2025, 3:59 AM local time. Unlike last year's 1st Anniversary Lead-Up Gift Week, more bonuses are available for this year's pre-anniversary event.
Leads Up to the Second Anniversary Fest
The Second Anniversary Fest is the main event celebrating Pokemon Sleep's second anniversary. This event takes place right after the prelude event, starting from July 14.
The Hoenn starters—Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip—as well as their evolutions will be introduced during this anniversary event.
Second Anniversary Prelude Event Bonuses
150 Bonus Sleep Points Every Day
During the Second Anniversary Prlude event, you can get 150 bonus sleep points every day as a gift in addition to your normal sleep points from sleep sessions. This gives us a total of 1,050 bonus sleep points at the end of the event week.
Take note that these bonus sleep points are not automatically added into your Sleep Pass. You must claim the gift first in your Gift Box before they are added to your current sleep points.

Featured Pokemon
Paldea Starters
For the Second Anniversary Prelude event, you can expect all Paldea starters as well as their evolutions to pop up more frequently during your sleep research sessions.
Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and their evolutions will all have increased encounter rates in the research areas that they can be found in.

No featured Pokemon will be available in Snowdrop Tundra, while all featured Pokemon will be available in the Old Gold Power Plant area.
Greengrass Isle is home to the Meowscarada line as well as the basic Pokemon Fuecoco and Quaxly. Cyan Beach contains the Skeledirge and Quaquaval lines. Taupe Hollow only has the Skeledirge line. Lapis Lakeside has both Meowscarada and Quaquaval lines.
Best Island for Second Anniversary Prelude Event
Old Gold Power Plant for All Featured Pokemon
If you want to encounter all of the featured Pokemon, you may want to go to the Old Gold Power Plant. This is the only research area that has all of the featured Pokemon available. However, take note that this is an area that requires a high RP team to raise Snorlax's rating.
If you don't quite have a strong enough team yet but still want to encounter all Paldea starters, you can go to Greengrass Isle. It has representation from all of the starter lines, and it's accessible to all players.
Snowdrop Tundra is Not Recommended
Since there are no featured Pokemon in Snowdrop Tundra, it is not recommended to go here during this event unless you do not want to encounter any of the featured Pokemon at all.
