Version 2.1.0 of Pokemon Sleep was released on October 24, 2024. This update changes the main skills of certain Pokemon, adds in the Halloween 2024 event to the game, and includes more adjustments to the game. Read on to learn about Version 2.1.0 and its patch notes.

Version 2.1.0 of Pokemon Sleep was made available on October 24, 2024 after maintenance on the app concluded. This update comes over two weeks after the last update, Version 2.0.1.

The new features being added in this update center on the Halloween 2024 event, which is also when Mimikyu and its Disguise (Berry Burst) ability will be available in the game.

| ・ Addition of a pop-up notification when an incense is not used during sleep research and is returned to your bag instead. |
Incense can be set before starting a sleep session by either placing it on the tree stump near the camp set or by adding it on the Sleep Preparations screen.
You can use up to two incenses in one sleep session, and they will be removed from your bag upon successfully completing a sleep session. If your sleep session ends prematurely or isn't properly recorded, any placed incense will not be consumed and will be returned to your bag.

| ・ Adjustments to the target for main skill Energizing Cheer S ┗ The probability of this main skill targeting the helper Pokémon with the lowest Energy on your team has been raised a bit more. ・ Adjustments to certain helper Pokemon's main skills and main skill chance: ・ Houndour and Houndoom ・ Before change: Charge Strength S ・ After change: Charge Strength M ・ Due to these main skill changes, the main skill chance will be lowered slightly. ・ Umbreon ・ Before change: Charge Energy S ・ After change: Moonlight (Charge Energy S) ・ Due to these main skill changes, the main skill chance will be lowered slightly. ・ This skill will restore Energy to the user, but if a Great Success occurs, it will now also restore a small amount of Energy to a random Pokémon on your team. Notes: Main skill levels will be maintained after the update. Main skills of Pokemon you have befriended will also change. ・ Adjustments to certain helper Pokemon's helping stats: ・ Pikachu (Halloween) ・ Frequency shortened slightly |
The helping stats of Houndor, Houndoom, Umbreon, and Pikachu (Halloween) are being adjusted in this update.
Houndour, Houndoom, and Umbreon are getting significant upgrades to their main skills. This lowers their main skill chance, but it still seems like a good deal for these Pokemon.
Pikachu (Halloween) is also being upgraded to be faster, which helps this Pokemon a lot since it cannot evolve.

Another updated feature is the Tracking Device Sharing Option, which shows which device you're using for tracking sleep—whether its mobile, Pokemon GO Plus+, or a smartwatch. This is automatically set to on, but you can turn it off through the Sharing Options in the Research Community screen.
