The overall best Helper Team is a team of your highest RP Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep. However, there are other best teams you can make depending on your priorities—whether it's raising Snorlax, gathering ingredients, or leveling up your Pokemon.
List of Contents
If you want a simple, non-stressful way to figure out which Pokemon you should use for your primary Helper Team, sort your Pokemon Box by RP. Choose the first five Pokemon with the highest RP, and you'll have a good Snorlax-raising Team for any Snorlax you may encounter.
A high RP Team will be able to raise Snorlax effectively whether you're actively playing Pokemon Sleep during the day or only using it to track your sleep at night.
To cater specifically to your Snorlax of the week, make a Helper Team that collects your Snorlax's favorite Berries. Favorite Berries give double the amount of Snorlax Strength, so you can expect Pokemon that pick up these Berries to be twice as effective.
You can filter out the Pokemon that gather Snorlax's favorite Berries by using the Search function at the bottom of the Pokemon Box screen. Remember that each Snorlax has different favorite Berries, so may need to swap out the Pokemon in this Helper Team every week.
Research Area | Favorite Berries |
---|---|
Greengrass Isle | Random |
Cyan Beach | |
Taupe Hollow | |
Snowdrop Tundra |
Snorlax's favorite Berries are fixed in every research area except for Greengrass Isle. This makes it easier to build a Pokemon team for each island.
Best Morning Helper Team: Berry Finding Team
If you're running low on ingredients or are looking to complete your Recipe list, you may want a Helper Team more suited to gathering ingredients than Berries.
Pokemon with the Ingredients Specialty are more likely to find ingredients at a faster rate. Having a team full of these Pokemon will allow you to fill your Bag with ingredients in no time.
Make sure to check your Pokemon every so often when using this type of team. You have to manually pick up any ingredients your Pokemon gather, and they cannot find more ingredients once their Carry Limit has been reached.
Best Daytime Helper Team: Ingredient Gathering and Skillful Helping
Nature | Increased Stat | Decreased Stat |
---|---|---|
Modest | Ingredient finding | Speed of help |
Mild | Ingredient finding | Energy recovery |
Rash | Ingredient finding | Main Skill chance |
Quiet | Ingredient finding | EXP gains |
You can also use Pokemon with these Natures if you don't have enough Pokemon with the Ingredients Specialty. Pokemon with these Natures are also more likely to find ingredients at a faster rate.
Best Natures: List of All Natures and Effects
The Ingredient Magnet Skill allows your Pokemon to obtain a set amount of random ingredients you've previously found. This is a Main Skill, which means only certain Pokemon have this Skill, and you will need to tap on your Pokemon while it's on the field for this Skill to have a random chance to activate.
All of your Pokemon have a chance to have an Ingredient Finder Sub Skill, which can boost the likelihood of the Pokemon obtaining ingredients as long as it's on the field. Sub Skills are automatically active as long as your Pokemon has unlocked it and is in your Helper Team.
List of All Skills and Effects
If you want a Helper Team that still gets work done while you sleep, use a team of high RP Pokemon. Pokemon with high RP can often get more Berries and ingredients in a shorter period of time.
Since Berries are automatically given to Snorlax once your Pokemon's Carry Limit has been reached, Pokemon who can gather lots of Berries will be able to significantly raise Snorlax's Strength even as you sleep.
Best Night Helper Team: Bedtime Team
Sleeping is the most cost-efficient way to increase your Pokemon's EXP. While a team full of Pokemon you want to level up may not be the best team to provide help, this allows your Pokemon to grow and raise their RP.
Some Pokemon also require a specific amount of hours of sleep in order to evolve. Evolved Pokemon have higher RP and can provide more help.
If there are Pokemon you want to level up or evolve, place them in a Helper Team that you'll use whenever you start a Sleep Session. This Helper Team will be focused on more long-term growth and benefits.
Go to Edit Teams in the Pokemon menu to change the Pokemon in your Helper Teams or to change the active Helper Team. You can create up to five Helper Teams, but only one team can be active at a time. Each Helper Team can have up to five Pokemon in them.
Swap out the Pokemon in your desired Helper Team simply by tapping the Pokemon slot that you want to change. You can also change the Leader of your Helper Team, which determines the Pokemon featured on your Sleep Session screen.
