The Valentine’s Day event for 2026 is being held from February 9, 2026 until February 16, 2026, the week of Valentine’s Day (February 14)! Desserts are at the forefront of this event, with a new dessert recipe being added, and the Strength provided by dishes cooked for Snorlax will be multiplied by at least 1.5x.
Pokemon that pick up Pure Oil, Soothing Cacao, Greengrass Corn and Honey—ingredients used in the brand new dessert recipe—will also appear more frequently during sleep research.

On February 9 at 3 PM local time, Cutiefly and Ribombee will be available in Pokemon Sleep! These Pokemon from the Alola region are both Snoozing Fairy types that are expected to obtain the Honey ingredient.
| Event Date | Strength Bonus | Extra Tasty Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| February 9 - 14 | x1.5 | x3 |
| February 15 (Sunday) |
x1.5 | x4.5 |
Pokemon Sleep is making our Valentine's week sweeter by giving us dish strength bonuses all week long!
All dishes made during this week will have a 1.5x Strength boost. Extra Tasty dishes, which are normally double (2x) the expected dish Strength, will instead have triple (3x) the original dish Strength during this event.
On Sunday, February 15, which is the last day of the Valentine's Day event, this Extra Tasty bonus goes up to 4.5x. Combined with the doubled pot capacity on Sundays, you can make an exceptionally strong dish that may allow you to jump through multpile Snorlax Ratings all at once.

Every dish has a random chance of being Extra Tasty. On Sundays, there is an additional 10% chance of getting an Extra Tasty dish.
You can also improve your chances of cooking an Extra Tasty dish by using a Pokemon with the Tasty Chance S skill. Adding more ingredients than the recipe calls for is also believed to help.
Cooking Guide: Tips for Increasing Dish Strength and Best Dishes

Regardless of which research area you choose for the week, your Snorlax will have Desserts and Drinks as their cooking request. All of the event bonuses should also apply to all research area islands.
However, the featured Pokemon for this event will only appear in their designated research areas.

|
One new dessert recipe is being added during the Valentine's Day 2026 event starting on February 9! This new dessert is the “Honey Gather” Chocolate Waffles.
All of the ingredients required for this dish can be obtained by the featured Pokemon during the event.
List of Dessert and Drink Recipes

During the Valentine's Day Event, Pokemon of all sleep types will be available during sleep research after sleep sessions, as if you have a Balanced Sleep Type for every sleep session. This means that you don't have to aim for a particular Sleep Type if you're hoping for one of the featured Pokemon to appear.
All Sleep Types and How to Get Each One
Shiny Bulbasaur |
Shiny Croagunk |
Shiny Stufful |
All of the featured Pokemon have increased Shiny odds during this Valentine's Day event. This includes the new Pokemon Cutiefly and Ribombee.
If Shiny hunting is your aim, it's recommended to do two sleep sessions per day in order to maximize the number of Pokemon you can find.
Shiny Hunting Guide: How to Get Shiny Pokemon
| Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Get Snorlax to Basic 2 | Cutiefly Incense x1 |
| Get Snorlax to Ultra 1 | Ingredient Ticket M x1 |
| Get Snorlax to Master 1 | Cutiefly Candy x30 |
| Give out 15 Biscuits | Dream Shards x8000 |
| Use 100 Candies | Ingredient Ticket S x5 |
| Use 7 Incenses | Handy Candy S x5 |
| Stick to your bedtime 3 times | Ingredient Ticket S x5 |
| Cook 12 times | Poke Biscuit x5 |
In line with the cooking theme for this event, the rewards for these missions include Ingredient Ticket M and Ingredient Ticket S.
Incense and Candy for the new Pokemon are also available as rewards.
During this event, Pokemon that obtain the Pure Oil, Soothing Cacao, Greengrass Corn and Honey ingredients will have a greater chance of appearing during sleep research.
The featured Pokemon are all also Ingredients Specialty Pokemon that are best at ingredient gathering.

Greengrass Isle (Expert) |
The new Pokemon, Cutiefly and Ribombee, will have the greatest appearance rate during this event week. They can be found on Greengrass Isle and Taupe Hollow.
All of the featured Valentine's Day Pokemon will be available on Greengrass Isle. Other islands will have a sparser selection, which may be beneficial if you're aiming for just one particular Pokemon.

Pinsir and Absol are two of the rarer Pokemon you can find in Pokemon Sleep. They have no evolutionary lines, so the only way to get them is to find them in the wild and befriend them with Biscuits. They also tend to have higher friendship point requirements, so you may need to encounter them multiple times in order to befriend them.
This Valentine's Day event gives you more opportunities to find and befriend these rare Pokemon. Getting their Sleep Styles registered will also be helpful to reach your next Sleep Style Dex Goal.
Biscuit Guide: Befriending Pokemon and Friendship Level Rewards

If you only want to befriend Cutiefly and Ribombee, it would be best to go to Lapis Lakeside or Amber Canyon. These have the least amount of Pokemon with an increased appearance rate, so you have a better chance of finding them.
Since Amber Canyon requires a high Team RP, most players would probably prefer to go to Lapis Lakeside instead, so that it's not too much of a struggle to raise Snorlax's Strength rating.

If you want to see all the featured Pokemon, Greengrass Isle has them all except for Stufful. Greengrass Isle is also accessible to everyone, regardless of whether you're new to Pokemon Sleep or have been playing since launch.

These are the strongest dessert and drink recipes in Pokemon Sleep. It's a good idea to make these strong recipes during the Valentine's Day Event, though you do have to upgrade your cooking pot, set up a Camp, or maybe even use a Pokemon with Cooking Power-Up S in order to make these dishes.
These Pokemon are best equipped to help you gather the ingredients required for the recommended recipes above. These are all Ingredients Specialty Pokemon that can obtain more ingredients in less time.
