A good morning Helper Team can get through a full day's work of gathering Berries and ingredients, and it should be the Team best suited to raise Snorlax in Pokemon Sleep. Read on for an in-depth guide of what kind of Team to build, which Pokemon to use, and how to change the Pokemon of your morning Helper Team.
List of Contents
The first Helper Team of the day should be a solid team of Pokemon that can raise Snorlax and improve your progress in the game even if you forget to log back into Pokemon Sleep for the rest of the day.
The Pokemon you choose to be on this morning Team should depend on their energy levels, Berries that they gather, and their RP (Research Power).

After a good night's sleep and perhaps even some newly befriended Pokemon, you should have a good selection of happy and energized Pokemon to add to your Helper Team.
Your Team should have enough happiness and energy to be able to work for the whole day in case you forget (or don't want) to change Teams later on in the day.
Morning Guide: Befriending and Breakfast
Every Snorlax that you get will have their own favorite Berries. Check every week for your Snorlax's favorites by checking the Berry box by Snorlax's foot, and change your Pokemon Team to reflect these Berries.
You can view the Berries that your Pokemon gather under Helping Stats on their respective Pokemon page. Every Pokemon that gathers one of Snorlax's favorites should be seriously considered for all of your Helper Teams.
Your Pokemon will continue to give Snorlax Berries if their hands are full even if you don't open up the app, which is why this is very important.
Research Area | Favorite Berries |
---|---|
Greengrass Isle | Random |
Cyan Beach | |
Taupe Hollow | |
Snowdrop Tundra |
Snorlax's favorite Berries are fixed in every research area except for Greengrass Isle. This makes it easier to build a Pokemon team for each island.
Each Pokemon has their own Specialty, which affects the amount of items they can get or how often Skills may trigger, depending on what their Specialty is. Pokemon with the Berries Specialty have increased chances of obtaining Berries and can pick up two Berries at a time.
If you have Pokemon with the Berries Specialty that gather one of your Snorlax of the week's favorite Berries, definitely consider adding them to your Morning Helper Team.
List of Pokemon with Berries Specialty
RP or Research Power helps you determine how good your Pokemon is at raising Snorlax. The higher the RP, the better your Pokemon can perform.
The effects of using higher RP Pokemon may not be too noticeable early on when your Pokemon are still in similar RP ranges. If that is the case for you, you do not need to consider RP yet when making your Helper Team. But it is still worth remembering for future builds.
Nature | Increased Stat | Decreased Stat |
---|---|---|
Lonely | Speed of help | Energy recovery |
Adamant | Speed of help | Ingredient finding |
Naughty | Speed of help | Main Skill chance |
Brave | Speed of help | EXP gains |
Pokemon with a Nature that boosts Speed of help may be beneficial in maximizing the amount of Berries you can give Snorlax in a day. These Pokemon are able to gather Berries and ingredients faster than expected.

Choose your Team members by going to Edit Teams in the Pokemon menu. Tap on any of the five Pokemon slots that you want to replace or fill. The Leader of your Helper Team will be the Pokemon featured on your sleep tracking screen whenever you're in a Sleep Session.
