The Pokemon Sleep Flower Festival begins and ends at 4 AM Local Time for All Time Zones.

The Pokemon Sleep Flower Festival was held from April 22, 4:00 AM local time until April 29, 3:59 AM local time in all research areas.
Comfey has made its debut in Pokemon Sleep during the first day of the Flower Festival! Take note is only available on Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach, and Lapis Lakeside, but it has increased encounter and Shiny rates during the event!
Comfey Coming to Pokemon Sleep on April 22!
Event Date | Strength Bonus | Extra Tasty Bonus |
---|---|---|
April 22 - 27 | x1.5 | x3 |
April 28 (last day) |
x1.5 | x4.5 |
All dishes made during this week has a 1.5x Strength boost. Extra Tasty dishes, which are normally around double (2x) the expected dish Strength, instead have triple (3x) the original dish Strength during this event.
On April 28, the last day of the Flower Festival event, this Extra Tasty bonus goes up to 4.5x. Combined with the doubled pot capacity and increased Extra Tasty chance on Sundays, you can make an exceptionally strong dish that may allow you to jump through multpile Snorlax Ratings all at once.
It may be worth adding Dedenne to your team to make the most of this boosted Extra Tasty bonus with its Tasty Chance S main skill.
If there's a Grass or Fairy Pokemon you want to Shiny hunt, now's your chance! All of the featured Pokemon in this event have better Shiny odds.
Make sure to choose an island that has the Pokemon you're Shiny hunting as your research area for the week. It's also recommended to do two sleep sessions per day in order to maximize the number of Pokemon you can find.
To help you befriend more Pokemon, there will be one guaranteed hungry Pokemon after your first sleep session of the day. Hungry Pokemon receive either 3x the normal Friendship points of a given Biscuit or max out the Pokemon's Friendship gauge.
Take note that this guaranteed hungry Pokemon is separate from the guaranteed hungry Pokemon you get from Friend Incense or from the Good Camp Set.

Three Flower Festival Bundles are now available at the General Store from April 22, 6:00 AM UTC until April 30, 3:59 AM UTC to go with the Flower Festival event. Each bundle contains Biscuits and a Pokemon Incense for one of the featured event Pokemon, including the new Pokemon Comfey!
Since these bundles have Vol. 1 in their names, we can expect these bundles to make a return next year, along with the Flower Festival event.
Mission | Reward |
---|---|
Get Snorlax to Basic 2 | Comfey Incense x 1 |
Get Snorlax to Ultra 1 | Poke Biscuit x5 |
Get Snorlax to Master 1 | Comfey Candy x 30 |

Use 100 Candies | Dream Shards x6,000 |
Stick to your bedtime 3 times | Dream Shards x6,000 |
Cook 12 times | Dream Cluster S x5 |
There are seven event missions available during the Flower Festival. You can get Comfey Incense pretty easily just by getting Snorlax to Basic 2.
Comfey Incense can only be used starting 3 PM on April 22, while on Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach, or Lapis Lakeside.
You can expect to see many of these Grass and Fairy-type Pokemon after your sleep sessions during the Flower Festival event. All of these Pokemon will also have an increased Shiny rate.
Research Area | Featured Pokemon |
---|---|
Greengrass Isle | |
Cyan Beach | |
Taupe Hollow | |
Snowdrop Tundra | |
Lapis Lakeside |
All of the event Pokemon, other than Bayleef and Meganium, can be found on Greengrass Isle. The missing Pokemon can be found on Lapis Lakeside, which contains all of the Grass-type Pokemon in the game.
Taupe Hollow and Snowdrop Tundra contain the least amount of featured Pokemon, since these two islands aren't very hospitable to Grass types.
Increased Encounter Rate | ||
---|---|---|
Cleffa | Clefairy | Clefable |
Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable will also have increased encounter chances because of the Good Sleep Day event to be held from April 23 to 25. However, this will not stack with its greater appearance rate for the Flower Festival event.
Whichever encounter rate is higher will be the rate these Pokemon will follow.
If you want to encounter or Shiny hunt as many of the featured Pokemon as possible, then Greengrass Isle is the best island to go to for the event week. It has 19 of the 21 featured Pokemon with increased encounter and Shiny rates.
Greengrass Isle Map and Area Dex
Cyan Beach is Comfey's habitat with the least amount of featured Pokemon. This gives you a better chance of finding Comfey naturally, without the need for Comfey Incense.
Choose Cyan Beach if Comfey is the only Pokemon you want to befriend during this event.
Cyan Beach Area Dex and How to Unlock
Lapis Lakeside has almost the same amount of featured Pokemon as Greengrass Isle at 18 out of 21. However, Lapis Lakeside has more Sleep Styles available for these featured Pokemon.
Most of the 3-star Sleep Styles are not available on Greengrass Isle, as well as most of Leafeon's Sleep Styles. Lapis Lakeside has the complete set of Sleep Styles for all of the Pokemon on the island, making it the best choice for completing your Sleep Style Dex.
Lapis Lakeside Area Dex and How to Unlock
There is a wide variety of good Pokemon to use when making salad recipes. Victreebel, Gengar, Ditto, Delibird, and Bewear are some of the best to use in any area, but each island has its own set of salad Pokemon that shine based on the island's set favorite Berries.
Salad Ingredients to Focus On | ||
---|---|---|
Fancy Apple | Bean Sausage | Snoozy Tomato |
Fancy Egg | Fiery Herb | Pure Oil |
Soft Potato | Warming Ginger | Greengrass Corn |
It may be better to look at the salad ingredients you want to get instead of the individual Pokemon. Try to create teams that focus on these ingredients, so that you'll always have something to make when it's time to cook for Snorlax.
Best Flower Festival Salad Team
Greengrass Salad is the strongest salad in the game and is the dish to aim for on Sunday when pot capacity is doubled.
The other recipes should be able to fit in a pot at maximum capacity. However, your maximum pot limit will still depend on your Sleep Style Dex progress. Always try to choose salad recipes with the highest Strength value that can fit into your pot.
