To celebrate the release of Old Gold Power Plant, Pokemon Sleep will hold an event that features three of this area's new Pokemon: Aron, Shinx, and Grubbin! This event will be held from October 7 until October 21 at Greengrass Isle. Read on for more information about the bonuses, missions, rewards and featured Pokemon for this event!

The Old Gold Power Plant Event will be held for two weeks from October 7, 2024 at 4:00 AM local time until October 21, 2024 at 3:59 AM local time.
This event will be held at the Greengrass Isle research area in order to accommodate those who do not have enough Sleep Styles to unlock the Old Gold Power Plant area.
Ahead of the two-week-long event, the Old Gold Power Plant research area will be added into Pokemon Sleep on October 2, 2024 at 3 PM local time.
However, this will not be the venue for the event, since the event features Pokemon that are already easily available at Old Gold Power Plant. Those who have obtained 340 Sleep Styles and unlocked Old Gold Power Plant are encouraged to skip the event at Greengrass Isle and go straight to new area.
Old Gold Power Plant Area Coming October 2
The Old Gold Power Plant Pokemon are only available to players who choose Greengrass Isle as their research area for the week.
However, if you have enough Sleep Styles to unlock the Old Gold Power Plant Area research area, it is recommended that you proceed instead to the new area. The featured Pokemon for this event have a naturally higher encounter rate at Old Gold Power.
The special event missions can be accessed and completed by everyone regardless of the research area you chose.

If you accidentally select a different research area than you intended, you can change your research area by using an E-Zzz Travel Ticket.
This item has been made available in the Regular Exchange, so you can now purchase one per month using Sleep Points.
Greengrass Isle Map and Area Dex
Unlike previous Pokemon Sleep events, this Old Gold Power Plant Opening Event does not have any of the usual bonuses. All sleep sessions will be calculated normally.
This event week will only feature new Pokemon and additional event missions.
The new featured Pokemon also do not have any boosted Shiny odds. Aron, Shinx, and Grubbin will be obtainable at the usual Shiny rate of about 1 in 450 odds.

This event features the first stage evolutions of the brand new Pokemon added in the Old Gold Power Plant Area area.
Aron, Shinx, and Grubbin will be available at Greengrass Isle for the duration of the event. You have a chance to encounter them regardless of the sleep type obtained during a session.
These Pokemon are expected to leave Greengrass Isle on October 21 at 4 AM UTC, two weeks after the event finishes. Try to use any Incense for these Pokemon before October 31, 11 AM, since they will no longer be usable on Greengrass Isle once the Pokemon leave. Aron Incense, Shinx Incense, and Grubbin Incense can only be used in Old Gold Power Plant from October 31 at 11 AM onward.
