What Are Research Areas?

Islands for Sleep Research

Pokemon Sleep - Sleep Research Location

Research Areas are islands where you conduct your sleep research with Snorlax, your Helper Pokemon, and all the Pokemon you will meet after your sleep sessions.

Each Research Area has a recommended Team RP target. Try to raise all your Helper Pokemon's levels and improve your total RP so you can have the best research possible!

Choose a Research Area Every Monday

Pokemon Sleep - Snorlax Research

Every Monday morning, you will be prompted to choose a new Research Area to set camp at and start researching with a brand new Snorlax, as research only lasts until Sunday night within an area.

Daily Routine Guide and Tips

Use E-Zzz Travel Ticket to Change Areas

Pokemon Sleep - E-Zzz Travel Ticket

You can transfer to another Research Area midweek with an E-Zzz Travel Ticket if you want to prematurely end your research in your current camp.

This item costs 150 Diamonds in the General Store. It has also been made available at the Regular Exchange for 100 Sleep Points.

Some Pokemon May Appear More Often

Pokemon Sleep - Research Area Pokemon Encounters

Some areas have Pokemon that may appear more often in that area compared to other maps.

For example, some Water-type Pokemon call Cyan Beach their home, so you may encounter more Water-types in that area if you choose it as your research site.

Pokemon Sleep - Register Sleep Styles

Discovering Sleep Styles will lead you to access new Research Areas as you meet Sleep Style Dex Goals.

You will start off at Greengrass Isle, but you will be able to travel to other areas as you register more Sleep Styles, so aim to get some rest and sleep!
