Version 2.3.0 of Pokemon Sleep has been released on December 17, 2024 after the app maintenance. This update changes the main skills and helping stats of certain Pokemon, adds in the Holiday 2024 event, adds the Main Skill Seed to the Regular Exchange, and more! Read on to learn about Version 2.3.0 and its patch notes.

Version 2.3.0 of Pokemon Sleep has been made available on December 17, 2024 after maintenance on the app finished. This update comes about two weeks after the previous Version 2.2.2 update.

New main skills are being introduced for Ditto, Mime Jr., and Mr. Mime! Both Transform (Skill Copy) and Mimic (Skill Copy) function similarly, activating a random main skill of a helper Pokemon on the field when the skill triggers.
Several Pokemon are also getting adjustments to their helping stats to make them more viable helpers. All affected Pokemon that you have in your Box will have the changes automatically applied to them upon downloading the update.

Version 2.3.0 will add a new Relaxing Sound you can use during sleep sessions as well as the 2024 Holiday event into the game, though the new Pokemon and event features will not be available in the game until the event starts on December 23.

In this update, adjustments have been made to the mission screen to automatically show the weekly missions instead of event missions once you have completed all event missions.
The Metronome main skill will also be adjusted to only include selected main skills instead of all of them. This will likely remove the powerful main skills of Legendary Pokemon or signature skills of certain Pokemon from the pool of skills that Metronome can draw from.

A notable change in this update is the addition of the Main Skill Seed to the list of items being sold in the Regular Exchange shop. The Main Skill Seed is an item that increases the level of your helper Pokemon’s main skill.
Previously, the Main Skill Seed can only be obtained with a Premium Pass in the Premium Exchange or through certain events. Now that the Main Skill Seed will become more accessible, players can more easily improve the builds of their helper Pokemon.
