Version 1.10.0 of Pokemon Sleep has been released after maintenance on August 1, 2024. This update adds new features announced during the anniversary including the Good-Night Ribbon, the ability to bank skill uses for Skills Specialty Pokemon, and increased max level caps. It also adds support for tablets. Read on to learn about Version 1.10.0 and its patch notes.

Version 1.10.0 of Pokemon Sleep was made available on August 1, 2024 after maintenance on the app concluded. This update comes over three weeks after the release of the Version 1.9.0 update.

The only confirmed event so far is the Pokemon Growth Week Vol. 2 event, but events such as Water Type Week and the Suicune Research event are expected to be held soon. We'll have to wait for more announcements to know which particular events they're preparing for in this update.
Version 1.10.0 will also be introducing the Good-Night Ribbon, previously announced on day 7 of the Pokemon Sleep first anniversary celebrations. This ribbon gives bonuses to Pokemon upon reaching certain thresholds of sleep time.

The Version 1.10.0 update makes several important changes that affects how we'll play the game. These changes are mainly centered around main skills, increased max limits, and increased rewards.
Banking Main Skills for Skills Specialty Pokemon
This update makes Skills Specialty Pokemon stronger by giving them the ability to store up to two main skill uses. However, any changes made onto the team, even if you swap out a Pokemon that isn't your Skills Pokemon, will cancel banked skill uses for all members of the team.

Increased Max Limits and Level Caps
Research rank, Pokemon level, recipe levels, main skill level for Ingredient Magnet S, Extra Helpful S, and Cooking Power-Up S, and bag capacity all will have increased maximum limits with this update. Notably, the increased maximum Pokemon level allows the third and final ingredient of each Pokemon to finally be unlockable.

The special Nightcap Pikachu you get for connecting your Pokemon GO Plus + device to Pokemon Sleep now has an increased max friendship level at level 20. This unlocks Nightcap Pikachu's third ingredient, Honey!
New achievements are also being added into the game that can be fulfilled by using your Pokemon GO Plus + device to track your sleep. Take note that these new achievements only start counting sleep hours from the time of this update.

With this update, Pokemon Sleep will finally be available on tablet devices and be playable when folding smartphones are folded! This can allow Pokemon Sleep to reach a wider audience.
However, this update also removes support for Android OS 7. Older devices than can't update beyond this OS will no longer be able to run Pokemon Sleep. If your device can be updated, try to update it before August 1 when this app update arrives.
