The Amber Canyon Debut event will be held for two weeks from November 10, 2025 at 4:00 AM local time until November 24, 2025 at 3:59 AM local time.
This event will be held at the new Amber Canyon research area as well as the Greengrass Isle research area for those who do not have enough Sleep Styles to unlock Amber Canyon yet.
Amber Canyon Area Was Added on November 6
Ahead of the two-week-long event, the Amber Canyon research area was added into Pokemon Sleep on November 6, 2025 at 3 PM local time.
Those who have obtained 450 Sleep Styles and unlocked the Amber Canyon are encouraged to go straight to new area for higher encounter rates for the new Pokemon.

The basic forms of the new Amber Canyon Pokemon will be available to players who choose Greengrass Isle as their research area for the week, but only for the duration of this event.

If you accidentally select a different research area than you intended, you can change your research area by using an E-Zzz Travel Ticket.
This item has been made available in the Regular Exchange, so you can now purchase one per month using Sleep Points.
Greengrass Isle Map and Area Dex
No Special Bonuses
Unlike other Pokemon Sleep events, research area debut events do not have any special bonuses. All sleep sessions will be calculated normally, no helping stats will be affected, and no limited-time event missions will be active.
This event week will only feature new Pokemon and additional event missions. However, Pokemon of all sleep types will be available during sleep research.
No Increased Shiny Chance for Featured Pokemon
The new featured Pokemon also do not have any boosted Shiny odds. Trapinch, Bagon, and Dwebble will be obtainable at the usual Shiny rate of about 1 in 450 odds.

This event features the first stage evolutions of the brand new Pokemon added in the Amber Canyon area.
Trapinch, Bagon, and Dwebble will be available at Greengrass Isle for the duration of the event with an increased encounter chance. However, they will be more common in their home in Amber Canyon. You have a chance to encounter them regardless of the sleep type obtained during a session.
These Pokemon are expected to leave Greengrass Isle on December 1 at 4 AM UTC, a week after the event finishes. Incense for these Pokemon will no longer be usable on Greengrass Isle once the Pokemon leave, but they can still be used in Amber Canyon.
