Pokemon Sleep players who have moved into the Cyan Beach research site may have noticed that the Snorlax here is a different color compared to last week's. This green Snorlax is native to the Cyan Beach area, and it's likely that other research sites will have their own color of Snorlax.

Is Green Snorlax Rare?

Cyan Beach Snorlax is Always Green Except in One Rare Case

This unusually-colored Snorlax is not actually rare, it is just the color that Snorlax found on that island are. There is however a very small chance each week that you get a different colored Snorlax, just as you can get any other Pokemon's shiny form occasionally. In Snorlax's case this would make it a Royal Blue.

Snorlax Had Green Hue in Fire-Red, Leaf-Green, and Pokemon Stadium

This isn't the first time a green-colored Snorlax has appeared. In Pokemon Fire-Red, Leaf-Green, and Stadium, the regular color of Snorlax was actually more green than blue.

It may not be the bright green of Pokemon Sleep, but it's nice to know that a green Snorlax may not be so unusual after all.
