The Entei Research event is only available to players who choose Greengrass Isle as their research area for the week.

Collect Entei Mane for Entei Incense

Entei Mane Collection Methods
Pokemon Sleep - Entei Mane to Entei Incense
  • Researching Pokemon after sleep sessions
  • Completing event missions
  • Receiving research from friends
  • Purchasing event bundles

You can collect Entei Mane through sleep research, event missions, Research Community reports, and event bundles during the Entei Research event. Entei Mane can then be used at the Event Exchange to get items such as Entei Incense and Entei Biscuits.

Collecting Entei Mane and exchanging them for Entei Incense may be the easiest way to encounter Entei. Entei Mane rewards from missions and bundles have also been slightly increased compared to the Raikou Research event, so earning enough Entei Mane may be a little bit easier for this event.

The Main Skill level for Fire-type Pokemon will also be increased. For the first week, Main Skill levels will be increased by 1. During the second week, skills will increase by 3 levels. Drowsy Power is 1.5x on Second Sunday

Pokemon Sleep - Drowsy Power

Drowsy Power will be multiplied by 1.5x on June 2, the second Sunday of the event, and the last day of the Pokemon Sleep week. This, along with the other event bonuses, may allow you to easily break your highest Drowsy Power record, and make it easier to encounter rare Sleep Styles.

Try using an Entei Incense for your sleep session on this day for a chance to see its higher star Sleep Styles.

Snorlax May Start at Ultra 4 on Week 2

Pokemon Sleep - Big Snorlax on Raikou Event Week 2

At the beginning of week two of the Raikou Research Event, Snorlax was automatically promoted to Ultra 4 after selecting Greengrass Isle as the research area, which was the event location for Raikou.

We can expect this to happen again during the Entei Research Event.

Fire-type Pokemon will be more effective during the Entei Research Event. They will all also have an increased encounter rate during this event.

Best for Cooking: Charizard and Flareon

Charizard is one of the best Ingredient Specialty Pokemon in the game. It especially shines if your cooking request for the week is set to Curries and Stews.

However, it's not as useful if you need to make Desserts. If you get stuck with Desserts as your cooking request for the event week, it's best to add Pokemon such as Blastoise, Venusaur, and Delibird to your team. You can also consider using E-Zzz Tickets to jump to a different research area, then come back for a different Snorlax.

If you get a lot of ingredients fro your Pokemon, Flareon is an excellent Pokemon to have. It's Main Skill expands your cooking pot for the next meal you cook, allowing you to make stronger dishes.

Cooking Guide: Tips for Increasing Dish Strength and Best Dishes

Best for Berry Gathering: Typhlosion and Ninetales

If you don't have time to check your game ang pick up ingredients every few hours, you'll want to have Typhlosion and Ninetales on your team. They can pick up lots of Leppa Berries for Snorlax even when they've already reached their carry limit. These are the best Pokemon to have during this event for some sneaky snacking.

Best Support: Entei

Once you've befriended Entei, it's a good support Pokemon to have on your team. It benefits the most from having an increased main skill chance Nautre or a Skill Trigger sub skill, especially when combined with the event's increased main skill trigger rates for Fire types.

Take note that you can only have up to one Entei on your team at a time, though you can have multiple in your Box.
