Pokemon Sleep is working on future updates to add new features, events, Pokemon, and a research area! Read on for a list of all of the planned updates they've announced for versions 1.0.15 and beyond of the Pokemon Sleep app and which features they've already implemented.

A partial list of features that were intended to be added to Pokemon Sleep through the Version 1.0.15 update was given. This includes the Daily Gift feature at the General Store and the Holiday 2023 event.
All this and more were added into the game through the Version 1.0.15 update on December 14.

The future of Pokemon Sleep is looking tasty with new cooking mechanics, ingredients, and recipes to be introduced. It is possible that the Notes for Dishes may also be expanded to include the recipes for easy reference.
New Research Area: Lapis Lakeside
A research area currently in development has been mentioned before and was said to house Leafeon and Flareon. Lapis Lakeside might just be this research area!
However, the name does make it seem like a habitat more suited for Water and Dragon-type Pokemon. We'll have to wait for a future announcement to be sure.

Currently, the amount of sleep time you share with a Pokemon only matters to those that need a certain amount of hours as an evolution requirement such as some baby Pokemon.
It will be interesting for the Pokemon you use a lot to gain more potential benefits. Choosing Pokemon for your Helper Team may be even more critical!
