The Balanced Sleep Type Pattern is a sleeping pattern players can do to acquire different types of Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep. Learn helpful tips and tricks on how to do the Balanced Sleep Type, what it is, and what Pokemon you can get here!
List of Contents
The Balanced Sleep Type is a mixture of all three sleep types, and is characterized by mostly sleeping through the night with very occasional wakes, and a moderate amount of noise and movement. This is also the Sleep Type you get for consistent data throughout your Sleep Sessions.
Apart from the Snoozing Sleep Type, this is another common sleep type players can get, as it is one of the most realistic sleeping patterns a person could have.
The Balanced Sleep Type Pattern can be done when one mostly sleeps smoothly, but still wakes up, moves, and makes noises, albeit at a reasonable amount. This sleep type can be made regular by players.
This sleep type is fairly easy to attain, but considering that some people may still sleep through the night entirely, it may be best to be vigilant and act accordingly to ensure that you have a perfectly balanced sleep.
An alternative to getting the Balanced Sleep Type is by partially following the hack we presented for the Snoozing Sleep Type, but making minor adjustments.
Simply leave your device face-down on a soft surface and simply relax and do your daily activities such as work. However, be sure to check your device at intervals of approximately 3-4 hours, combined with reasonable amount of noise and activity.
How to Do the Snoozing Sleep Type Pattern
When playing Pokemon Sleep, do keep in mind that you can record up to two Sleep Sessions per day for a minimum of 90 minutes per session.
If you're planning to collect the most Pokemon within a single day, we recommend using the second Sleep Session to get a different Sleep Type.
Sleep Type Quiz
Starting from your third Sleep Session, your Sleep Type will be determined by comparing your results to your previous Sleep Sessions.
This means that if your activity levels remain consistent for every Sleep Session, even if you lean towards one specific Sleep Type in your Sleep Reports, you are more likely to get the Balanced Sleep Type Pattern.
The Balanced Sleep Type will attract Pokemon of any of the three other Sleep Types. If you're having trouble getting Pokemon from a specific Sleep Type, getting a good night's sleep will yield great results!
Since this Sleep Type is common and easy to get, sleeping naturally will be enough to attract Pokemon you've never encountered before.

This section is for Trainers who want to get the most out of Pokemon Sleep by actually trying to get some sleep.
The Balanced Sleep Type is fairly common, provided that one naturally responds to bodily cues and reacts to reflexes at a very balanced amount. If you're having a hard time doing so, try to *actively do so/ to change the way your body reacts.
The Balanced Sleep Type is fairly common and tends to occur naturally. Sleep like you normally would, and you should get this Sleep Type no problem!
Different bodily cues tend to cause you to wake up and respond accordingly, such as the need to go to the bathroom or feeling dehydrated.
Pay attention to these cues as some people tend to ignore them or sleep through them. If you need to go to the bathroom or rehydrate, be sure to do so!
Caffeine and sugar give off energy and jump-starts your brain, even during sleep. Hence, it could cause more movement and noise, diminishing your chances of getting the Balanced Sleep Type. It will be in your best interest to keep these at a minimum.
Apart from keeping you awake, coffee is also a known diuretic, which means that bathroom breaks will become more frequent. Since we're trying to keep wakes at a reasonable amount, try to avoid drinking too much coffee.
People tend to fall asleep better and easier at a position they find most comfortable, may it be laying on your back, on your side, or face-down.
Many studies present sleeping positions that are considered healthy. However, should you feel more comfortable at different positions, it will be best to follow those instead for a better night's sleep.
