During the Good Sleep Day event, Drowsy Power and the EXP gain of your helper Pokemon will be multiplied. You can also get extra Sleep Points during the event!
The Drowsy Power bonus on the full moon day varies depending on what day it falls on.

Starting with the fourth Good Sleep Day event, bonuses for the night of the full moon will depend on what day it falls on.
The Drowsy Power multiplier will remain the same at double (x2) power if the full moon falls on a Thursday, Friday, or a weekend. This is probably because Monday is the beginning of the Pokemon Sleep week, where most people will have a low Snorlax Rating. Another reason may be because many people find it harder to get enough sleep during weekdays compared to weekends.

Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable have increased encounter rates for the entire duration of the event and an even greater encounter chance on the day of the full moon. For better chances of encountering a Shiny, it's recommended to do two sleep sessions in a day.
Clefairy and Clefable are both Snoozing-type Pokemon, while Cleffa is a Slumbering Pokemon. Try to aim for those sleep types or for the Balanced Type if you want to encounter these Pokemon.
Increased Chance for Unregistered Sleep Styles
Starting from the October 2024 Good Sleep Day event, unregistered Sleep Styles are more likely to appear during sleep research on Good Sleep Day event dates.

Use Incense During Event

You can further take advantage of the bonuses from Good Sleep Day by using various Incenses before starting a sleep session.
We recommend using a Growth Incense to rapidly level up your team of Helper Pokemon. This stacks with the EXP bonus of the event and is best used during the full moon.
Use a Luck Incense to increase the Dream Shards you get during sleep research. Higher Drowsy Power means you have a higher likelihood of finding rare Sleep Styles and evolved Pokemon, which often give more Dream Shards.
A Friend Incense would also be very helpful if you already have a high base Snorlax Strength and Rating and are expecting to encounter rare Pokemon upon waking up.
Do note that you can use up to two Incenses at once.

Bonuses Only Affect Sleep Sessions Started During Event
The Good Sleep Day bonuses only apply for sleep sessions that were started while the event is ongoing. Sleep sessions that begin before 4 AM on the event's first day will not be affected by any of the bonuses.
Likewise, sessions that start before 4 AM when the event ends and end after the event is over should still have the bonuses active for that sleep session.

When is the Next Full Moon Good Sleep Day Event?
Occurs Every Month on the Full Moon
The Good Sleep Day event occurs during every full moon. Pokemon Sleep follows the timing of the full moon for eastern countries like Japan when determining their Good Sleep Day event dates.
The full moon for March is on March 14, which means the Good Sleep Day event for the month willl be on March 13 to 15. For April, the full moon will be on April 13.
Announced During August Pokemon Presents
The Pokemon Presents on August 8, 2023 announced a new event that will be coming to Pokemon Sleep called Good Sleep Day. This event can help out people who have been struggling with their Sleep Scores and resulting Drowsy Power.
During this event, Snorlax's Drowsy Power will be stronger than usual. This will allow you to find more Pokemon after your sleep sessions.
