New Pokemon: Toxel and Toxtricity

New Pokemon Toxel and Toxtricity

Toxel and both the Amped form and Low Key form of Toxtricity are being added in this event. These are brand new Skills Specialty Pokemon that make use of the Plus and Minus skills.

Event Bonuses and Mechanics

Skills Specialty Pokemon Bonuses

Main Skill Chance 1.5
Main Skill Level +3

During the Super Skill Week event, Skills Specialty Pokemon will be more helpful. These helpers will have an increased main skill chance at 1.5x the normal rate and have their main skill level increased by 3, making these some of the best Pokemon to have on your helper team for this event week.

If you’ve used Main Skill Seeds on your Pokemon, take note that main skill levels can only be raised up to the maximum possible level for that skill. Most skills can go up to either level 6 or 7, so if your Pokemon’s main skill is at level 5 and up, the main skill level bonus will be reduced.

Take note that this feature is automatically turned on during the event. You can manually toggle it off on the level up screen.

Also take note that Candy Boost is affected by EXP Natures. Use this information to help you decide which Pokemon to give Candies to.

The new Pokemon Toxel, Toxtricity (Amped Form), and Toxtricity (Low Key Form) will have the greatest encounter chance during Super Skill Week. These Pokemon can be found on Greengrass Isle, Greengrass Isle's Expert Mode, and the Old Gold Power Plant.

Unevolved Skills Specialty Pokemon will also have a slightly increased encounter chance in their respective research areas.

Super Skill Week Event Tips and Best Island

Go to Old Gold Power Plant for Toxel and Toxtricity

Pokemon Sleep - Old Gold Power Plant

If you only want to find the new Pokemon, Toxel and Toxtricity, it’s best to go to the Old Gold Power Plant. It’s the habitat of Toxel and Toxtricity with the least amount of featured Pokemon, giving you better chances of finding the two new Pokemon.

Take note that this area requires a high Team RP if you want to raise your Snorlax Rating. However, Toxel should be available even at a Basic 1 Rating on this island.

Old Gold Power Plant Area Dex and How to Unlock

Go to Greengrass Isle for Most Featured Pokemon

Pokemon Sleep - Greengrass Isle Snorlax

Greengrass Isle’s diverse collection of Pokemon and accessibility always makes it a great event venue. This island holds the most amount of featured Pokemon, so if you want to encounter only Skills Specialty Pokemon throughout this week, this is the best island to go to.

Since Pokemon with the Skills Specialty are better helpers this week, it’s best to make the most of the event bonuses by adding as many Skills Specialty Pokemon to your team.

Some of the best Skills Specialty Pokemon you can use are the Legendary trio from Johto—Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. However, since they are considered special Pokemon, you can only add one of them to your team at a time.

Add an Ingredients Pokemon for Cooking

Pokemon Sleep - Blastoise Ingredients

If you’re struggling to get ingredients, add one or two Ingredients Specialty Pokemon to your team. Unfortunately, this event does not increase the ingredient yield for Skills Pokemon, so you may find it difficult to get enough ingredients for Snorlax’s meals.

You can also try using Vaporeon, a Skills Specialty Pokemon with the Ingredient Magnet skill, which may prove useful.
