Pokemon Sleep - Suicune Mane to Suicune Incense and Biscuit

    • Researching Pokemon after sleep sessions
    • Completing event missions
    • Receiving research from friends
    • Purchasing event bundles

Collecting Suicune Mane should be possible through sleep research, event missions, Research Community reports, and event bundles during the Suicune Research event. Suicune Mane can then be used at the Event Exchange to get items such as Suicune Incense and Suicune Biscuits.

Younger Pokemon Sleep players that do not have access to a Research Community can also receive a special gift of Suicune Mane to make up for having one less source of this event item.

During the Suicune Research event, Water-type Pokemon will be more helpful. Water-type Pokemon will be able to pick up one extra ingredient and have an increased main skill chance at 1.5x the normal rate.

The Main Skill level for Water-type Pokemon will also be increased during the event. For the first week, Main Skill levels will be increased by 1. During the second week, skills will be increased by 3 levels, which will make Suicune an especially excellent helper to add to your team.

Drowsy Power is 1.5x on Second Sunday

    Pokemon Sleep - Drowsy Power

Drowsy Power is expected to be multiplied by 1.5x on September 15, the second Sunday, which is also the last full day, of the event. This is the best time to find Suicune's rarer Sleep Styles!

    Drowsy Power Explained

A Big Snorlax Appears on Week 2

Pokemon Sleep - Big Snorlax on Raikou Event Week 2

Following the format of both the Raikou and Entei Research events, a large Snorlax will appear during the start of the second week of the Suicune Research event. This allows players to start at a higher Snorlax rating and potentially make it easier to encounter Suicune's rarer Sleep Styles.

Snorlax Starts at Ultra 4 on Greengrass Isle

If you choose Greengrass Isle as your research area on September 9, you can expect Snorlax to start at an Ultra 4 rating, similar to past research events.

Lower Rating Expected on Cyan Beach and Lapis Lakeside

If you choose Cyan Beach or Lapis Lakeside as your research area instead at the start of the second week of the event, Snorlax is expected to start at a rating lower than Ultra 4 to better match the Snorlax Strength scales of the islands.

The Cyan Beach Snorlax starts at an Ultra 1 Rating. Lapis Lakeside, on the other hand, is the island with the highest Strength requirements per rating, so Snorlax will likely only be at a low Great Rating.

    Suicune Incense

Suicune Incense cannot be purchased if you already have one in your bag. You can only have a maximum of one Suicune Incense in your inventory at a time. Placing the Incense on a stump still counts as having it in your inventory until it is consumed after a completed sleep session.

    Suicune Biscuits

Suicune Biscuits will only be usable during the Suicune Research Event. Once the event is over, any Suicune Biscuits you have in your inventory will turn into Great Biscuits.

Cyan Beach Has All Water Type Pokemon

Pokemon Sleep - Cyan Beach Snorlax

The best research area for the Water Type Week event is Cyan Beach if you want to see all of the Water types available in the game. This is the only island that has all of the Water-type Pokemon, including Slowking and Golduck which aren't available elsewhere.

Cyan Beach Area Dex and How to Unlock

Lapis Lakeside for High RP Water Team

Pokemon Sleep - Lapis Lakeside Snorlax

Lapis Lakeside is only recommended for players who have a high RP Water Type team, since it's difficult to rank up in this area. If your team falls below the recommended Team RP for this island (10,000 RP), it is not advisable to go here.

If you do have a strong enough team for this area, Lapis Lakeside can offer the fastest way to find rarer Sleep Styles, including Suicune's, since they can be found at lower Snorlax ratings here. This can potentially allow you to get more Suicune Mane.

Water-type Pokemon will be more effective during the Suicune Research Event. They will all also have an increased encounter rate during this event.

Blastoise, Feraligatr, and Suicune are Best

Blastoise and Feraligatr are the strongest Water-type Pokemon in the game, so you can't go wrong by adding them to your team during the event.

Suicune itself would also be a great Pokemon to use for the event as a Skill Specialist.
