The Flower Festival event will be held in all research areas, with the cooking request for the week set to Salads. Because of the different favorite Berries on each island, the best Flower Festival team will depend on where you choose to spend your week.
Generally, it's a good idea to get Ingredients Specialty Pokemon that obtain the ingredients above and also obtain Snorlax's favorite Berries on that island. For the best team recommendations for each island, check out our article here:

For more specific team builds for the Raikou Research event, check out our guide here:
The Candy Boost function can be used during certain events. This allows your Pokemon to gain twice as much EXP from Candies but costs much more Dream Shards.
The regular Candy Boost Dream Shard cost is around 6x the normal amount. The Mini Candy Boost function used during the Electric Type Week event required around 4x the normal amount of Dream Shards but could only be used a limited amount of times per day.

Each dish type has specific ingredients that are better to collect and Pokemon that are good at collecting these ingredients.
Moomoo Milk is widely used in all dish categories, which makes Blastoise one of the best Ingredients Specialty Pokemon you can have on your Helper Team.
Other excellent Pokemon choices are Ditto because of its access to the Slowpoke Tail ingredient and Gengar because of its speed and access to high-Strength ingredients.
Best Ingredients and Helper Pokemon For Dishes
The best dishes to cook are those that use uncommon ingredients that give high strength such as Soothing Cacao, Fiery Herb, Pure Oil, and Fancy Egg.
You can increase the strength of your dishes by adding more ingredients to your cooking pot, which can benefit from being expanded, and leveling up your recipes. You also have a random chance of making an Extra Tasty dish, which will double its Strength.

In Pokemon Sleep, you can evolve Pokemon by using Candies in addition to fulfilling at least one other evolution requirement: either reach a certain level, sleep a certain number of hours, or use an evolution item.
Placing Pokemon that evolve by leveling up or by sleeping a set number of hours should be placed into your Helper Team whenever you go to sleep. This is how they earn EXP and sleep hours.
Evolution items can be bought using Sleep Points or as rewards for certain achievements. As long as you regularly use Pokemon Sleep to track your sleep, you should be well-equipped to evolve your Pokemon.
The best evolutions for Eevee are Sylveon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, and Glaceon. These Pokemon have the best main skills out of the Eeveelutions, which is the primary focus of these Skills Specialty Pokemon.

If you want a team best suited for your Snorlax of the week, consider using Pokemon that gather its favorite Berries. If you are lacking in ingredients, consider building an Ingredient Finding Team.
Use Helper Teams that suit your needs in order to get the Best Helper Team for you.

Your Pokemon can earn EXP by going to sleep or by using Candies and Dream Shards.
Your Sleep Score determines the amount of EXP your Pokemon earn after a Sleep Session. Pokemon with a Nature that boosts EXP gains get more EXP than your Sleep Score.
Using Candies and Dream Shards is the faster way of leveling up your Pokemon. You can increase the amount of Candies and Dream Shards you earn by using multiple of the same Pokemon in a Helper Team or by using Pokemon with the Dream Shard Magnet Skill.
Pokemon Levels are currently capped at level 55 even though it's clear that they should be able to reach level 100 from their sub skills. The level cap is expected to increase as more updates arrive in the following months.

RP or Research Power determines how effective a Pokemon's help is when it comes to raising Snorlax. Team RP is calculated by adding the RP of all the Pokemon within a Helper Team.
A Pokemon's RP can be affected by its level, Nature, and species. Pokemon with higher RP are able to pick up more Berries and ingredients at a faster rate.

Pokemon Sleep players who have moved into the Cyan Beach research site may have noticed that the Snorlax here is a different color compared to last week's. This green Snorlax is not Shiny as Snorlax's Shiny color is dark blue.
However, it does bear some resemblance to the green-tinted Snorlax of Pokemon Fire-Red, Pokemon Leaf-Green, and Pokemon Stadium.

Shiny Hunters rejoice! Shiny Pokemon can be found in Pokemon Sleep. While the Shiny odds for Pokemon Sleep have not yet been revealed, there have been a lot of players who have reported finding a Shiny Pokemon in their Pokemon Sleep game. The Shiny odds may be similar to Pokemon GO's 1 in 450 Shiny rate.
It seems that the Snorlax you get on your weekly Pokemon Sleep island also has a chance to be Shiny. Unfortunately, you'll still have to move on to a new Snorlax every Monday even if it is Shiny.
At the moment, you cannot transfer any Shiny Pokemon you may have befriended in Pokemon Sleep to Pokemon HOME.

The only way to befriend a Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep is to give them Biscuits during Snack Time. If you give them enough Biscuits to maximize their Friendship Points, you will be able to befriend them.
Be careful to not overfeed Pokemon. If they become full, you won't be able to give them any more Biscuits, and you won't be able to befriend them for the current Snack Time period.
Biscuit Guide: Befriending Pokemon
The first Helper Team of the day should be a solid team of Pokemon that can raise Snorlax and improve your progress in the game even if you forget to log back into Pokemon Sleep for the rest of the day.
Berries gathered once your Pokemon reach their carry limit will go directly to Snorlax and increase its Snorlax Strength even if you don't open the app.
The Pokemon you choose to be on this morning Team should then have high energy and happiness levels, gather Snorlax's favorite Berries, and ideally, have high RP (Research Power).
The best time to wake up will depend on your personal schedule. When playing Pokemon Sleep, we recommend waking up at least 20-30 minutes before you start your daily routine to have enough time for sleep research and to tend to Snorlax's needs.
Pokemon you find during sleep research are not affected by the time you wake up. They are only affected by your Sleep Score and resulting Drowsy Power.

Helper Pokemon help you gather Berries and Ingredients for Snorlax. You can choose the Pokemon best suited to be on your Helper Team based on which Berries, ingredients, and skills you want.
Since Helper Pokemon work hard all day to get food, they will grow tired over time. You can increase their happiness and energy by going to sleep or giving them certain items like the Energy Pillow.
A daytime Helper Team is designed for when you are actively playing Pokemon Sleep and checking on your Pokemon out on the field. This is best used for when you want to gather more ingredients or activate particular Skills.
To filter out Pokemon with the ingredients or Skills you want, use the Search function at the bottom of the Pokemon Box screen.
Your Helper Pokemon will be gathering Berries and ingredients throughout the day. To maximize the number of items you can get, you can check your Pokemon every two hours.
It may be a good idea to check your Pokemon's Frequency of Help stat in order to figure out a more optimal checking schedule for your Pokemon Helper Team. Keep in mind that other factors like Specialties, Natures, and your Pokemon's Energy levels can affect how often your Pokemon gather resources.
When to Check Your Helper Pokemon
The easiest way to keep your Pokemon's energy green and happy is to go to sleep. Your Pokemon will earn the same amount of energy as your Sleep Score. Add your most tired Pokemon to your active Helper Team before you start your nightly Sleep Session, so they can recover as you sleep.
You can also use an Energy Pillow for an instant +50 energy to a single Pokemon. Keep in mind that this is a single-use item, and it can only be used on one Pokemon at a time.
How to Keep Helper Pokemon Happy and Energized
The best way to get more ingredients is to use Pokemon that can pick up multiple ingredients at once, Pokemon that have ingredients as their Specialty, and Pokemon with Natures that boost ingredient finding.
Make sure to check on your Pokemon every so often in order to gather the ingredients that they pick up.
You can get more Berries by using Pokemon that are naturally good at this task (such as those with the Berries Specialty and those with boosted speed of help Natures) or by using items to speed up the Berry collection process.
Some useful items include the Helper Whistle and the Good Camp Ticket.
You can have a 90-minute sleep session during the day if you are having trouble meeting the 8-and-a-half-hour requirement for a perfect Sleep Score.
It's best to use this second sleep session for an afternoon nap. If naps aren't your thing, you can start a sleep session without really going to sleep. You can do this during lunch or any time you can set down your phone for an hour and a half.

The Snoozing Sleep Type is one of the Sleep Types a player can do in Pokemon Sleep. As the most realistic Sleep Type one could have, it is attained by sleeping through the night with occasional movement and noise.
Alternatively, one can leave their device face down on a soft surface to the side or on their lap during work. Check out our full guide on how to attain this Sleep Type Pattern!

The Dozing Sleep Type is one of the Sleep Types a player can do in Pokemon Sleep. It requires significant movement, noise, and frequent short wakes. Because of this, we recommend that players only get this during their second sleep session.
Alternatively, players can leave their phones stationary and check it once every 15 to 20 minutes. For more detailed instructions, see our full guide here!

The Balanced Sleep Type is a combination of all three sleep types, with reasonable amounts of waking up, movements, and noises in a sleep session that is mostly smooth throughout the night.
An alternate method to this sleep type is similar to the Snoozing Sleep Type, leaving your device face-down on a soft surface, but checking it very occasionally and moving and making noise at a balanced amount. Check our full guide for more details!

Using the technology in your smartphone or your Pokemon GO Plus+ device, Pokemon Sleep can determine when you fall asleep and if you wake up. These devices use the movement detected from the soft surface of your bed to determine your sleep information.
The best bedtime for you will depend on your personal schedule and what time you can fall asleep easily. Following your bedtime will give you a reward based on your Rewards Stamp Card.
You can set your bedtime in Pokemon Sleep before starting a sleep session. Starting a sleep session at least 90 minutes before and up to 30 minutes after the time you set will allow you to earn a stamp in your reward stamp card.
This card will be reset after successfully following your bedtime 7 times or if you change your bedtime.

Pokemon gain the same amount of energy and EXP as your Sleep Score. If you plan on getting a good night's sleep, make sure to bring along Pokemon who need that energy and EXP to your Night Helper Team.

How to Play Pokemon Sleep |
---|
|
As you hit the hay and prepare to sleep, open Pokemon Sleep and set an alarm for the time you'll wake up the next day.
Charge your device if needed, place it on your bed, then head off to dreamland! The app will then automatically track your sleep throughout the night.
For your safety, it is advised to avoid hiding your device under your pillow or any other object while sleeping, as it may overheat while the app is tracking your sleep.
Once you wake up, check out your device to view your data about last night's sleep. You'll be able to view how long you slept, the sounds you made while sleeping, and more!
Your sleep score from the previous night will be based on the duration of your sleep. If you are able to get more hours in, you'll have a higher score!
After checking out the data recorded, your sleep will then be categorized into either Dozing, Snoozing, or Slumbering.
Pokemon with the same style of sleep as you did will then appear near Snorlax, and the number of Pokemon that will appear is tied to how long you slept.
Additionally, each Pokemon in the game has several sleep styles, so get as much sleep as you can!
Once you get out of bed and go on with your day, you can still play the game and spend time raising Snorlax in the island.
You can feed Snorlax Berries and make food and drinks, which will increase is strength!
