To celebrate the release of Lapis Lakeside, Pokemon Sleep will hold an event that features three of this area's new Pokemon: Ralts, Dratini, and Stufful! This event will be held from January 29 until February 12 at Greengrass Isle. Read on for more information about the bonuses, missions, rewards and featured Pokemon for this event!

The Lapis Lakeside Opening Event begins and ends at 4 AM Local Time for All Time Zones.
The Lapis Lakeside Event will be held for two weeks from January 29, 2024 at 4:00 AM local time until February 12, 2024 at 3:59 AM local time.
This event will be held at the Greengrass Isle research area in order to accommodate those who do not have enough Sleep Styles to unlock the Lapis Lakeside area.
Ahead of the two-week-long event, the Lapis Lakeside research area will be added into Pokemon Sleep on January 24, 2024 at 3 PM local time.
However, this will not be the venue for the event, since the event features Pokemon that are already easily available at Lapis Lakeside. Those who have obtained 240 Sleep Styles and unlocked Lapis Lakeside are encouraged to skip the event at Greengrass Isle and go straight to Lapis Lakeside.
Lapis Lakeside: New Island Coming Soon!
The Lapis Lakeside Opening Event Pokemon are only available to players who choose Greengrass Isle as their research area for the week.
However, if you have enough Sleep Styles to unlock the Lapis Lakeside research area, it is recommended that you proceed instead to Lapis Lakeside. The featured Pokemon for this event have a naturally higher encounter rate at Lapis Lakeside.
The special event missions can be accessed and completed by everyone regardless of the research area you chose.

Greengrass Isle Map and Area Dex
Unlike previous Pokemon Sleep events, this Lapis Lakeside Opening Event does not have any of the usual bonuses. All sleep sessions will be calculated normally.
This event week will only feature new Pokemon and additional event missions.
The new featured Pokemon also do not have any boosted Shiny odds. Ralts, Dratini, and Stufful will be obtainable at the usual Shiny rate of about 1 in 450 odds.

The Lapis Lakeside Opening Event has two sets of missions, one for each week that the event is live. If you aren't able to finish the missions for the first week, you can complete them until the end of the second week. Because of this, there are only six event missions per week, less than the normal eight weekly missions.
These missions can be completed regardless of the research area you chose for the week. You do not have to be in Greengrass Isle in order to

This event features the first stage evolutions of the brand new Pokemon added in the Lapis Lakeside area.
Dratini, Ralts, and Stufful will be available at Greengrass Isle for the duration of the event. You have a chance to encounter them by getting their corresponding Sleep Type during your sleep sessions.
These Pokemon are expected to leave Greengrass Isle on February 19 at 4 AM UTC, a week after the event finishes. Try to use any Incense for these Pokemon beforehand, since they will no longer be usable on Greengrass Isle once the Pokemon leave. Dratini Incense, Ralts Incense, and Stufful Incense can only be used in Lapis Lakeside from February 19 onward.
